You will learn the basics of tone production and mechanics, as well as a little music theory and ear training. You will also sight-read occasionally. We can also prepare you for any upcoming performances you may have! You will build a strong foundation so that you have more time to focus on the bigger picture and musicality.

I am a multi-instrumentalist and composer who just finished a Master's degree in Jazz Saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I have experience playing in a variety of ensembles, ranging from classical orchestras to jazz big bands. With these lessons, you will learn not only the technique of the instrument, but also how to play any genre you like. You will also learn how to improvise within a style if you wish. The lessons are fully adaptable to each student. I also offer jazz theory and jazz composition lessons.
