I believe everyone can sing, and I believe that everyone could sing greatly if they are patient and put work in it." - Dominyka 👇 LESSONS: I whole-heartedly promise that with our singing lessons, you will learn more about your own voice and that you will develop your own sound as a singer. We work on warm-ups/warm-downs, breath support and its control, sound projection, how the larynx, jaw, and tongue work and can function freely, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal color, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), jazz improvisation, vocal improvisation, interpretations, rhythmic variations, and so much more. My goal for you is to have the best time and spend lesson time wisely while we achieve the best results in singing. If there is a wish, I can also help you to broaden your knowledge about the repertoire that is suiting to your voice color, recording sessions, live performance situations, "a workout plan for singing", songwriting/composing, music theory, ear-training, solfeggio, and such. I recognise that every voice is unique, and that's why my singing lessons are customised to suit each individual student. The focus is on building a strong foundation in vocal technique, honing performance skills, and curating a versatile repertoire that aligns with your musical aspirations. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced singer, I am here to help you reach your goals. Trusted teacher: Looking to improve your singing, gain confidence, and express yourself better? I am a voice teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching students from ages 5 to adults. I have taught over 40 students in all genres, classical, musical theatre, and pop, and have successfully prepared them for ABRSM and Trinity exams. I believe that singing is innate to all of us, and if you can speak, you can sing! My class structure depends on your goals and starting point. During your lesson, we will explore your vocal profile and your goals, and I will show some of the vocal exercises that may help you. You can also bring a song you like, and we can work on the vocal technique, text, and facial or body expression. You can then decide if we are a good fit for one another. A singing class for children is very different from a class for adults. For example, with younger children, we do more vocal exploration and movement, to ensure that they build a love for music and to protect their voice. With adults looking to audition for semi-professional to professional jobs, we work on building a practical practice plan for your own vocal gym. For vocational adult amateurs, we may work on more songs than vocal exercises. I am a master's student in Singing (Classical) at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and previously graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance) from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I've received training in contemporary pop singing style with Meredith Colby's Neuro-Vocal Method, and also believe in the body-based Alexander Technique method of relaxation. I regularly go for voice teacher training to make sure I stay updated with factual, anatomy-based methods. Students say that I bring a high energy, productive structure, and a personable atmosphere to every class!

Marta - The Hague£41
Trusted teacher: Welcome to my introduction site! My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life. Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun! Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading). All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome! Different options for lessons that I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student: SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with attention to healthy singing. SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) During singing lessons, we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing techniques, pronunciation, and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, and vocal warm-up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation, and style. My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes. SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons) Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.) SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers, and adults) In these lessons, you will learn how to bring written music to life (sight-singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation), and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined in every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies, this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is an inevitable part of every professional music education. MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons) Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory-related subjects. For each subject, we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student. COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases, the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lessons and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*) AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons) Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories, or preparation for ABRSM exams. *Please, contact me for more information about group lessons. Prices per person in group lessons are much lower than prices for individual lessons. If you have any further questions, please, do not hesitate to contact me... I will be happy to answer all your questions!

Singing Lessons - A motivating, professional team just for you! (The Hague)
Filipe
I started as a complete beginner and not being really confident about my voice. Nonetheless, Filipe made me feel at ease from the very first lesson. Filipe is really motivating and he conveys his passion for singing during every class, which always makes me feel stronger and reenergized. Also, while he lets you practice and work together on the songs you love, he is very professional and provides guidance in every technical aspect of singing, from breath support and articulation, to finding resonances within your body, as well as how to mentally approach a song. Strongly recommended!!

Marta
What a great session! I wish I'd found her sooner! She's very knowledgable - repertoire, technique, the science behind it all etc, as well as being very approachable and encouraging. She helps you feel relaxed and makes singing in front of someone not as scary as it could be. I look forward to many more lessons with her.
