I'm a singer and bassist based in London, ICMP alumni, graduated in Popular Music Performance specialising in Vocals. I had the opportunity to improve my skills as a vocalist through different Vocal Coaches, who inspired me to share the passion to other people with fun, kindness and a good challenge. My vocal classes will include: -Introduction: your interests, goals, struggles or anything else. -Vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises. -Working on a song together (any song of your choice or I can pick one if you like). -Performance, getting rid of stage fright, and how to convey a song with feelings. I've always taught to my students privately and recently started to teach online. I like to have a free chat with my student (and/or their parents) before the first class to fully understand my student's goals and create the perfect study plan, with songs that will gently push you out of your comfort zone, where everything grows. Important is to mention that our classes are safe learning environment and there is no judgement; every mistake is an occasion for improving.

Our lessons are available at two locations in Crouch End (N8) and Thursdays in Crouch End and Mayfair (W1K). With a sound vocal technique, our singers are encouraged to try as many styles of singing as possible. We have jazz, folk, classical, contemporary, and musical workshops for our students. Our singers enjoy learning in our spacious, welcoming rooms and have many opportunities to sing in our choirs, productions, jazz and other workshops throughout the year. Since I was eight years old, singing has been and still is my favourite thing to do. I have been trained formally as a vocalist since the age of 10 studying music in the styles of classical, contemporary and jazz. I have recently received a certificate for Level I of The LoVetri Institute for Somatic VoiceworkTM and will continue to gain credentials in this method of training. For as long as I can remember, I loved music. I have successfully completed my BA degree and Mmus in Singing Performance My passion for music started at an early age with piano lessons. which was the start of my academic path in music. I successfully completed my ABRSM Grade 8 exams both in piano and music theory. Theory of music was always a great interest of mine and the thought of passing my knowledge through tutoring excites me. I am familiar with the long practice and study hours in order to achieve perfection. I have a very good knowledge of the piano ABRSM syllabus and feel very confident I can transfer this knowledge over to an interested student. I teach piano and theory of music based on the ABRSM syllabus, however, if the student wants to focus on a specific topic I am happy to do so. I am also a singing teacher in pop/jazz music.

I am possibly the most highly qualified, experienced teacher that you will find (30 years experience). I teach Ph.D., postgraduate university students right down to beginners. Please note that all lessons are online so you can relax in the comfort of your own home. Many of my pupils become professional musicians. I have taught at Conservatoire (Royal Northern College of Music) and have been an examiner for the Royal College of Organists diplomas (I am an academy teacher for the RCO). I have had pupils as young as 15 gain diplomas. I am classically trained with the highest level music qualification (a Ph.D.) and have topped the jazz piano charts too (no. 1 in the UK, no. 33 globally) and so even improvisation can be a topic to study. I also teach singing in all styles classical, pop, and musical theatre with pupils taking exams right through to diploma. I teach lessons on Zoom that are enjoyable and thorough. I am also an expert in the aural (listening) aspect of examinations with some of my research being published by Routledge currently (I am a Kodaly influenced practitioner and able to teach using solfege to a high level). I teach high-level paperwork for those taking diplomas and degrees too. My lessons are engaging and cover a wide range of tasks to ensure fun with a deep understanding. My theory lessons teach through playing so they are much more enjoyable and you learn to understand through what you are doing. Please note that all of my international lessons are online. I am based in the UK but teach across the globe.

My name is Natasha and I’m a professional opera singer and a passionate and experienced singing teacher. I teach a classical based technique that can be applied to lots of different genres of music.
