A bit about me: Originally from the UK, I have been playing professionally and teaching for over 10 years, graduating from Leeds College of Music with 1st class honors. Since then I relocated to Berlin to continue to work. Projects I am involved in include the Doug Weiss quartet and FORDE / COHEN / featuring Greg I am a Jazz drummer by trade and first love, however, I have vast experience in all styles including Pop, Rock, and much more. Music is one of the cornerstones of a healthy and happy life and it would be my pleasure to help guide you through part of your musical journey. I teach all skill levels and ambitions, whether you want to play bass a hobby, set up a band with friends or want to prepare for a conservatory audition, I can help you. In my teaching I try to give you the best foundational skills to achieve your musical goals. This means a high level of customization is possible if you have an idea of what direction you want to head down, but I will of course guide you on the way as well. As a bassist my strong suits are Rock, Pop, RnB and Neo Soul but through the years I have recorded and played live shows in a host of different genres (Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Ska, Hard rock etc) so my teaching is by all means not contained to a few genres, I believe having a good overview over different kinds of music is very important. I am originally from Rotterdam, the Netherlands and have been playing bass since I was 13 years old. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Electric Bass from BIMM Berlin and have studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (Summer 2018), Holland College in Canada (2019-2020) and am an alumni of the Popkurs at the HfmT Hamburg (2025). As a session bassist in Berlin I have recorded in many great studios with Grammy award winning and nominated producers and engineers (Sting, Billie Eilish). Apart from this I play for multiple artists and have played shows in venues such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Columbiatheater, Lido, Badehaus, Maschinenhaus, Kantine Am Berghain, Privatclub and run a YouTube channel with over 500.000 views. Next to this I teach students both in person and online and occasionally work at a music venue, basically I do anything to always be in a musical environment! I can't wait to get started with helping you achieve your musical goals!

My way of teaching is to focus on developing confidence in using the tools for realizing your creative potential. Teaching is very important to me; to impart knowledge to a student and see them grow musically is something I find highly rewarding. In classes (held both online and offline with safety precautions in place) I focus on each student’s individual needs and cover DAW’s necessary for their aims, from Ableton Live, to Bitwig and Logic. Bio: Hayden is a classically trained composer and sound artist from the UK, currently based in Berlin. His interest in the space between strains of acoustic and electronic music and attentiveness to composition acts as a connecting thread in his multiple artistic projects. Besides performing with his solo project, Hayden also acts as leader of the critically acclaimed band Tether, performs as an instrumentalist, and works as a sound designer for advertising, film, and theater. He has designed soundscapes for Ableton, Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin, and Cashmere Radio amongst others.

I offer professional guitar lessons for kids & adults in your home or online. I am a concert guitarist with an Italian master's degree in “classical guitar” at the Conservatorio di Musica (Music Academy) in Benevento, Italy. I have studied guitar for over 10 years and attended the master classes of the world-famous guitarist Edoardo Catemario for 6 years as a student. I gave numerous concerts in my home country (Teatro la Fenice - Venice; Festival Rosso di Sera - Siena; Centro di Musica Antica Fondazione “Pietà de Turchini” - Naples, etc.) Since I have been teaching at music schools in Naples (Italy) for several years, I have a lot of teaching experience with both children and adults. I speak Italian, English, and German.

You choose the songs, artists, or styles you love, and we'll work together so you can learn to play and accompany them on the guitar. You'll learn chords, chord changes, rhythms, strumming patterns, and different accompaniment techniques, always applied to real songs. The goal isn't simply to memorize songs, but to gradually understand how they work so you can learn new songs on your own. The classes are adapted to all levels. If you're starting from scratch, we'll go step by step so you can begin playing your first songs from the beginning. If you already have some guitar experience, we'll work on improving your rhythm, technique, and accompaniment skills. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. If you've been eager to get better in drums and therefore studying all its different styles and genres, I definitely can help you with that! Particularly, I've studied in deep Tony Williams' and Elvin Jones' playing and the main drummers of the jazz era from the 50s to the 70s , so if you really want to improve that kind of vision and sound I can give you some great hints such as transcriptions, analysis, sound strategies and many video materials. Also, I am specialized in Funk/Hip-Hop music and that kind of groovy world. So, I've been mastering a specific approach to this genre as well. About me: I've been playing drums since I was 6. I got my Master Degree in 2022 at Salerno Music Conservatory (Italy) in Jazz Drums and Percussion. I've been doing the role of Assistant Professor at KCB with Stéphane Galland since 2023. Since I moved to Belgium I had to chance to collaborate and sharing the stage at the moment with Manou Gallo, Zap MAMA, Stephane Mercier, David Linx and various others.
