My name is Aleksandar Nikolaev and I am from Bulgaria. I offer flute lessons (modern and traverso), piano and music theory, all ages and levels are welcome! I am able to teach in English, German, French and Bulgarian (my native language). Hello! My name is Cristóbal, a Spanish flautist passionate about music and teaching it. I offer flute, piccolo and traverso lessons for all levels. I particularly enjoy guiding each student on their musical journey, adapting to their needs and goals. I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages (from 5 to 68) and all levels, from beginners to those preparing for conservatory entrance exams. I have taught in music schools as well as privately in Spain, France, and Switzerland. This diversity of experience allows me to easily adapt to each student and to offer personalized support, according to their objectives, level and learning pace. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Zaragoza, Spain, I continued my studies at the Strasbourg Conservatory in Raquel Magalhães' class, where I was awarded a distinction. I then obtained a Master's degree in Performance from the Geneva University of Music in Jacques Zoon's class. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in traverso with Johanna Bartz, as well as a Master's degree in piccolo at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Peter Verhoyen. This dual specialization allows me to approach the flute family in its stylistic richness, from the modern repertoire to the baroque.

I offer recorder and/or music theory lessons, tailored to each student's needs. You can choose to focus on the instrument, deepen your musical understanding through music theory, or combine both for a comprehensive learning experience. For recorder, we work on breath control, fingering, articulation, posture, interpretation of early and contemporary repertoire, ornamentation, improvisation, and more. For music theory, I adapt my method to your level: reading notes and rhythms, listening skills, identifying intervals, fundamental harmonics, and understanding musical language. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification.
