Violinist with advanced training (three degrees in violin and two in chamber music) from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Accademia Perosi, the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, the Conservatory of Rome, and around the world. I offer structured, clear, and results-oriented online lessons. My lessons combine technical rigor, expressive development, and practical application to the repertoire—ideal for those who want to progress rapidly, pass exams, or prepare for competitions and orchestral auditions. What I offer: Personalized program: initial assessment and goal-based program (absolute beginners, academic study, auditions, chamber music). Solid technique: posture, intonation, bow control, scales/studies targeted to solve concrete problems. Repertoire and interpretation: from Baroque to Romantic and contemporary music; study of phrase, style, and performance practices. Targeted preparation for exams and auditions: selection of pieces, memorization support, study of orchestral excerpts, and audition simulations. Practical methodology: each lesson includes a technical warm-up, work on a piece, and practice assignments with clear objectives; recordings can be sent/commented on, and feedback is provided between lessons. Ideal for: Students seeking technical solidity and measurable progress. Aspiring conservatory students or orchestral roles (concertmaster or concertmaster). Aspiring musicians wishing to refine their sound, interpretation, and exam preparation. Practical details: Online lessons with a camera focusing on posture and sound. Learning materials and exercise suggestions provided after each lesson. First introductory lesson with diagnosis, objectives, and work plan.

Whether you have never held a violin in your hands or are an advanced player, all are welcome to contact me! I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60. My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding. No matter if you are interested in learning to play your favourite tunes just for fun or want to build up strong, solid technique and play demanding repertoire, I would be happy to work with you.The world of music is incredibly rich and I would love to help you on the exciting journey of discovering it. I believe it important to have variety in the process of learning and to help the student to develop good practising habits. For those interested, I can also gladly include some music theory/music history knowledge in the lessons, to understand the pieces on a more profound level. The lessons can be taught in either Estonian, English, German or Spanish.

My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

Starting with little prior experience, learning violin with Monique has led to incredibly fast progress. She is professional, patient, and incredibly skilled at explaining things in a way that feels encouraging rather than overwhelming. At the same time, she is warm, empathetic and always creates a positive atmosphere during lessons. I always look forward to practicing with her, and I can genuinely recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring violin teacher

Rebekka was an excellent teacher from the very first interaction. During our sessions, she was calm, friendly, and very easy to talk to thus creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. She gave me honest, thoughtful feedback that was both helpful and constructive. I felt supported and motivated throughout the conversations we had. Learning with her was such a great experience and I wholeheartedly recommend her!
