When we hold the first lesson at my location, I try to convey to you, based on my previous experiences, the information about the student's talent, skills, and character, and the approximate levels that can be reached in a given time. If you want to progress correctly and quickly in both Classical Western Music and Turkish Classical Music training, you can join my lessons. If you do not own a violin before, we will have our first lesson with my violins of various sizes suitable for every age group. If there are different violin sizes, I will try to guide you in the most suitable way for you in terms of the size and the instrument you will be using for this training and afterwards, taking into account your financial situation and goals. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. I am studying violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
