Me gusta trabajar con temas variados, como cultura brasileña, viajes, música, cine, salud, familia, conversación y gramática, siempre de una forma dinámica y agradable. Durante cinco años estudié en una universidad federal de Brasil y me especialicé en la enseñanza del español para brasileños. Esta formación me proporcionó una sólida base en metodologías de enseñanza y me permitió comprender cómo ocurre el proceso de aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma. Actualmente trabajo principalmente con estudiantes hispanohablantes, por lo que conozco las dificultades más comunes que enfrentan al aprender portugués. Además, como también hablo español, puedo explicar con claridad las diferencias entre ambos idiomas y ayudarte con paciencia durante todo el proceso de aprendizaje. Además de ser profesor, también fui estudiante de español y, más recientemente, de inglés. Por eso entiendo los desafíos de aprender un nuevo idioma y sé cómo hacer que ese proceso sea más sencillo, natural y eficiente. Instead of dry grammar drilling, our focus is entirely on natural discussion centered on books, writing, and cinema. We will chat about character psychology, narrative themes, and storylines. We can even read and analyze short book excerpts or script pieces together, depending on what makes your heart beat faster. It’s all about having fun with the language, not seeing it as a looming cloud over your head. Yes, I will correct your mistakes, but the main idea is for us to just immerse ourselves in the beauty that is the English language and enjoy our time there. MULTILINGUAL LISTENING SUPPORT: To make your lessons completely stress-free, you are welcome to use your native language whenever you get stuck. I have a strong passive understanding (listening and reading) of several languages, which means I can easily understand you if you speak or write in: •English (Fluent - MA Degree) •Serbian (Native) •Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese & German (Listening & Reading comprehension) Note: While I mostly understand these languages when you use them, our actual conversation and explanations will be conducted in English or Serbian. TECHNICAL DETAILS FOR ONLINE LESSONS: I conduct my lessons via Google Meet (the easiest option—no installation required, you just click the link I send you) or Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference.
