I certainly expect my younger students especially to complete these assignments. While my lessons are technical and follow strict parameters, there is plenty of opportunity for students to choose their own subjects and designs. I also highly recommend my student take excellent notes during my demonstrations and instruction time. I will always share my own notes and sketch journals so the student has a goal in mind. After a section of tuition has been completed (equal to a half term) I examine the notes and give feedback. I am a professional dancer and teacher. My work ethics are very aligned with buddhism and want to help people to feel good in their own bodies, releasing trauma, blockages and tensions. This is an opportunity to also have a good time and be in touch with your emotions through movement. I use the body to understand ourselves and our deepest thought process by truly connecting with the present moment. I use meditation and other techniques to help us drop the voices in our heads and create a free channel of connection with higher self.
