You will learn techniques to start a project, how to research other artists for inspiration, the drafting process for photoshoots or final pieces and how to link your work to bigger themes and make your art emotionally expressive. I can help with technical elements in drawing and painting, using different materials, being experimental in your photography and your pieces. During this class, you will be guided on how to develop ideas into tangible objects which then aids you in communicating your dreams, imaginations and visions. The class also empowers you to be daring in your approaches through inviting you to test media, approaches and techniques.

I am a tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching at a variety of levels from primary school to GCSE level. I teach English Language, English Literature, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), Maths, and Creative Writing. I have taught students both in person and remotely, planning lessons using virtual presentations, activities and resources both in the UK and abroad. I believe the most successful results come from fostering a friendship with my students, and providing constant encouragement and support in their areas of interest. I pride myself on being an attentive listener and carefully adapt to the specific needs of my students, which is particularly helpful for my SEN and ESOL pupils. I have previously volunteered as a mentor with charities such as Al Muntaha Tutoring and Debate Mate, providing mentorship, relevant advice, and support to young people. At the beginning of every lesson I also do short icebreaker activities and challenges with my students, using a points reward system to keep them engaged. Previous students have gone on to become the top of their class and receive recognition at school for both English and Maths. Lessons start at 1 hour in length, with longer lessons available if required. Lessons are structured according to the needs of the student; this can be working alongside their class syllabus to support them with progress at school, tackling an area or subject they are specifically struggling with, or helping them prepare for national exams such as GCSEs. I provide feedback after every lesson and detailed progress reports every six months for each student. I primarily offer online lessons as I have found this works well for me and my students, but in some cases I do teach face-to-face depending on location and availability within London. We will build on techniques from the 'life after estill' principles. This will be subtly incorporated into the lesson and you will find that breathing and projection will improve quite quickly. As an actor myself, I know how scary auditions/Drama School auditions can be. With each school requesting different skills and monologues, it can be hard knowing what works well for you as a performer and what will show you off the most. As someone who has been through the process and was successfully offered places at East 15, Lamda and Alra, I would now love to be able to support others through the journey During my lessons, we will focus on your Classical and Contemporary monologues while exploring the best audition techniques for in person or self tapes. I can answer questions, help you find the right scripts for you and support you through the process.
