Guitar and/or music theory lessons for all levels and agesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Giovanna raised and formed in Florence, where she began her guitar studies at the age of five at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. In September, she graduated cum laude and she's currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, studying with Antigoni Goni. Winner of many international competitions, she performed plenty of times in Italy and in 2023 she has held a solo concert in Milan for the XXXVIII Società Umanitaria's concerts season. Next to renowned guitarists, such as Luigi Attademo and Giorgio Albiani, she performed the world premiere of Álvaro Company’s Concert Català for ten guitars, in the revision by Vincenzo Saldarelli. Alongside her performing activity, Giovanna has developed a strong dedication to teaching adults, children, and teenagers. She tailors each learning path to the individual student, carefully balancing personal interests with technical and artistic development, whether for amateur musicians or students preparing for conservatory admission. Her teaching approach places particular emphasis on physical awareness and well-being, guiding students toward healthy and efficient use of the body while playing. Music theory is fully integrated into her lessons and is always connected to practical application on the instrument.

Unlock Your Musical Potential with a Master Piano Tutor: Lessons for All Levels and Ages (4+)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Looking for a passionate and professional piano teacher for your child or for yourself? My lessons are designed to bring out the joy of music and enhance creativity, while also gradually improving technique based on age and individual abilities. As a dedicated and experienced teacher with a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, I take teaching seriously and am committed to providing effective lessons tailored to each student. I offer different approaches to suit the individual needs and goals of every student. Playing an instrument should be a delightful experience and that's exactly what my lessons are all about! PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN (3+) Are you a parent eager to introduce your little one to the wonderful world of music? My lessons are designed to be playful and engaging. Using specially adapted piano books, I'll guide your child through an exciting musical adventure, complete with stories and new songs to learn. We'll explore music through singing, movement, and rhythm, helping your child develop a deep and lasting love for music. SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN The lessons are more than just learning songs. Children will explore a piano book filled with stories, characters, engaging music, and games. Depending on preferences we can dive into playing music with accompaniment recordings, which allows children to immerse themselves in a complete musical experience. Theory learning is included. TEENAGERS Are you looking for a piano teacher who will encourage and support your teenager's passion for music? I offer an accelerated piano book specifically designed for this age group, allowing your child to progress quickly in their piano skills. If your child already has experience in playing the piano, I build on their existing knowledge and continue to expand their skills and creativity. I understand that every student has their own goals, whether it's playing for fun or aspiring to be a professional musician. That's why I adapt my lessons to fit your child's intentions. By offering a variety of musical pieces for them to choose from, and being open to their suggestions, I believe that playing a piece they enjoy is more effective in keeping them motivated. ADULTS Are you worried that you're too old to start learning the piano? Don't be! It's never too late to pick up a new skill, and as an adult, you have unique advantages over children when it comes to learning music. You have greater focus, a better grasp of music theory, and a strong motivation to succeed. Do you have a favorite song that you've always wanted to play but thought it was too difficult? There are plenty of classical and popular melodies that have been arranged for beginners, so you can start playing them right away. I'll also recommend a piano book specifically designed for adult learners, which will help you build up your skills at a comfortable pace.

Musical awakening and music theory for childrenTranslate this text using Google Translate.

In my music or music therapy classes, I adapt to the wishes of the child / adults and their parents / guardians: -I define the styles and genres of music he listens to (slow or fast) and would like to discover -I define his favorite way of expressing himself: manipulate, dance, draw in music, others -I define what we could discover: history of music, solfeggio games, feeling of rhythm, singing games, making instruments, etc ... -I want to know clearly the facilities and difficulties of the student. -I add moments of feeling of the body: walk in rhythm, type in rhythm, walk towards the treble / bass, etc ... - I add moments of relaxation by guided meditation: imagine that we are a tree, a pebble, well inspired / exhale, etc ... * In musical awakening and music therapy, my main tools are: -a music style album (to explore all the nuances and listen to it if the urge comes) Games to keep the child's attention -simple craftsmanship to make instruments -the families of instruments and baths very basic solfèges -work of the ear and initiation to the instrument with a melodica -the small percussions (eggs, maracasse, tambourine, castanets) choreography (simple) to develop coordination -music relaxation and sounds of nature * In my music theory classes, I define the knowledge to reach: -I work rhythmic and melodic reading -I make work the feeling of the rhythm and the relative ear -I explain as simply as possible the notions of rhythmic notation, armor, tone, scales, modes, intervals, etc ... * My main tools are: -solphege applications - reading aloud -Active listening and dictation -fiches on the basics of solfèges -games explaining rhythmic and harmonic solfeggio - the manipulation of small instruments to practice rhythmic and melodic music theory (because it's more fun, is not it?)

A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons!

I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Elvis left a good impression after our first lesson, since I had a sense he loves music and likes teaching. He came across as very professional, flexible and is good with kids as well as adults. It’s a big plus for us that he teaches both violin and piano. We look forward to continuing to learn from him!
