I first identify which points are problematic in order to increase the efficiency of the courses. Then, depending on the student's requests and difficulties, I re-explain certain poorly understood theoretical concepts and solve exercises with him. For the theory, I make sure to explain the material as I would have liked to have been explained to me during my studies and I review the points of the course from new angles in order to facilitate understanding. For the exercises, I first let the student suggest his method of solving because each problem can be approached in several ways and it is much more productive to start from the student's ideas. I favor understanding by heart because I consider that memorization is only rarely necessary in math and science. Once the material is perfectly assimilated, we retain it much longer than if we study it without understanding it. My engineering studies allowed me to better link the abstract concepts of mathematics and science to concrete problems. If the student needs it, I can therefore easily give many visual and intuitive examples in order to speed up understanding. Mathematics is used in virtually every career. Moreover, apart from academic success, they are fundamental for the intellectual development of children and adolescents. Having developed a good foundation in mathematics in secondary school did not limit me in my choice of studies in higher education. It has indeed made it easier for me to succeed in most courses at the university, and I am currently studying for a master's degree in management engineering at the ULB. I have been offering my tutoring to high school students for three years now. I often notice that difficulties in math stem from a lack of basics. I am currently a doctoral student in quantum physics at UCLouvain. I graduated as a civil engineer and gave many private lessons during my studies and after. I also gave courses as an assistant at the Catholic University of Louvain. Through my scientific studies and my passions, I specialized in everything related to physics, chemistry and mathematics.

I specialize in high school mathematics and geography. Rangin from ages 12 until 18. University level math is also teachable, but some source material will need to be send in advance, so the course can be properly prepared. This however is the case for any classes, so the class can be prepared accordingly. If ever there are any questions after the lesson there can always be some e-mail correspondence between lessons.
