I rely on a human and personalized approach based on mutual exchange. I also seek to arouse curiosity in terms of listening, which in my opinion is essential in instrumental development.

Although this is essential for the transmission of knowledge, I take care never to scare away with too much theory. The primary purpose of music remains above all to take pleasure and share emotions.

As soon as his level allows it, I suggest that the student accompany him on guitar and singing so that he can feel the magic that operates when we play in a group.

About Me
Born of a music lover and multi-instrumentalist father, I have always been immersed in music. I started playing guitar and singing when I was 12. It was at the age of 15 that I received my first drum kit. I start learning this instrument as an autodidact. This intuitive approach allows me to sharpen my ear while developing my memory, my spontaneity and my creativity. Eclectic, I like to play on very varied musical styles.
Education
In 2016 I began studying at the Namur Conservatory where I had the honor of having the virtuoso David Lomazzi as a teacher. Thanks to his rigorous teaching and his valuable advice, I perfected my technique, I learned to decipher, read and interpret scores, and finally I adopted a structured working method.
Experience / Qualifications
In 2014 I joined Mellow Steez, a group with which I performed many concerts: Fêtes de Wallonie de Namur, Dinant Jazz Festival, VK Vaartkapoen, Fêtes de Wallonie d'Andenne, La Gelbressée, Piano Bar, La Pharmacie, Sérénades de Rochefort, Museum of the "Grange aux Potiers", Safari Ciney, Mundo Vino,... I participate in the composition and arrangement of several pieces as well as their recording in the studio. Currently, I play for the talented singer Mélanie Duchesne.

Teacher and violinist, graduated from IMEP in Namur. Committed and passionate about pedagogy, I am delighted to be able to accompany you in learning your instrument!
My classes are for all students of all ages and all levels.
Having had several teachers, I have variable methods which adapt according to an observation made beforehand on the student.
These courses will be approached both from a technical point of view and from a musical point of view and then from a point of view of concern for interpretation.
I try to put people at ease above all and to be as human as possible. Mutual respect is obviously required. In my opinion, it is first and foremost the human side that will determine the quality of a course and the progress of a learner.
Obviously, this is not enough for the quality of a course, here is what I rely on to maintain this aspect:
The bulk of the work will be defined with the student, according to his needs but also according to his expectations.
I do not impose only one technique or method.
Indeed, thanks to my educational master's degree and my experience, I have at my disposal various tools that I will adjust according to the individual I have in front of me. Being a fresh graduate, I am trained in methods ranging from the oldest to the most recent.
Very patient and involved, I am sure that we will find the best in order to move you forward as quickly and solidly as possible.
I make it a point of honor to make our work efficient and of quality, but hidden under the signs of pleasure and fun above all.

I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now, and I've graduated from both Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music (classical percussion) and Mons Royal Conservatory of Music (pedagogy). I've been teaching percussion, the drums and music theory for a little more than 4 years now.

My students are always the real actors of my courses. No matter what instrument you are learning, be it percussion, the drums, marimba, vibraphone, or music theory, I always pay close attention to your personal goals, and together we devise a unique learning plan that adapts to your strengths as well as your weaknesses.
My courses are aimed at anyone who is willing to put effort into learning music; children or adults, complete beginners or more advanced players who wish to receive additional feedback and insight.

Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening skills are the true pillars of my methodology. We pay as much attention to technique as to musicality or listening skills.
Additionally, I provide tailored exercises, on-demand sheet music and transcriptions according to your needs, as well as additional resources and recommendations on my website to nourish your musical life and journey.

I teach the following:
-the drums, in various styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, world music, latin music, on-demand songs) and forms (Moeller technique, speed, rudiments, syncopation, breaks, solo, independence, musicality, double pedal, push-pull, etc.);

-percussion (2 or 4-mallet marimba and vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, hand percussion), in both contemporary and classical music styles;

-music theory, which can and will easily be integrated into my drumming or percussion courses, or can be taught as a separate course for music students who are seeking remedial education;

-harmony;

-sight reading techniques;

-perfect and relative pitch (experimental)
