My name is Vanessa and I am an actress, teacher and producer currently based in London, United Kingdom. As well as training and performing within the Theatre industry since 2011, I have also taught art disciplines such as acting, singing and dance and dance fitness from the ages of 3 upwards. Some of my performance credits include, Motown The Musical, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray and Legally Blonde and currently Stranger Things: The First Shadow. For those that have a keen passion for entering into the Theatre industry, I am able to use my experience to offer professional training across all disciplines and help equip them with tools needed to thrive as a performer. Similarly, for those that enjoy the arts as an extra curricular hobby/space to express themselves creatively, I take pride in holding a creative self space to help my students to unlock self confidence, self belief and their broader imagination as well as strengthening skills such as teamwork, singing, dancing and acting. I am able to hold online classes and work to an international timezone to reach all my students and for those based in London and prefer face to face lessons, I'm able to rent studios or arrange home visits where requested. This Bollywood dance class is designed to introduce and develop Bollywood dance techniques through fun, engaging choreography. The class incorporates elements from classical, folk, and modern Bollywood styles, focusing on rhythm, expression, coordination, and musicality. Sessions are structured to be welcoming and supportive, allowing participants to learn at their own pace in a relaxed environment. The class is open to all levels and all groups, with no prior dance experience required. The purpose of this class is to create an inclusive space where people from all backgrounds can explore Bollywood dance as a form of movement, cultural expression, and physical activity. In this Raqs Sharqi (Belly Dance) class we focus on awakening feminine energy through fluid movements, hip release and expressive choreography. You will explore a wide variety of hip techniques: from circles and figure eights to shimmies and drops while also working on posture, facial expression and presence. We will learn how different styles are danced, such as drum solos (tabla), darbuka drums which are performed without veil, as well as more lyrical pieces where the veil becomes part of the performance. Attention is given to musicality, cultural context and dress codes for each style, ensuring a balance between technique, creativity and self-expression. This class is both a journey into movement and a space to connect with your inner strength and sensuality. This Contemporary Dance class is a beginner-friendly space for self-expression and creativity. With a focus on emotional support and zero judgement, we explore movement through flexibility, flow and improvisation. You will be guided to connect with your body, release tension and discover your own creative voice in dance. A safe environment where technique meets freedom, encouraging both personal growth and artistic exploration.

Contemporary and Ballet Dance tutoring. In-Person or via Zoom My contemporary class will focus on improving your co-ordination and pick up speed, developing experimenting with movement qualities, as well as practicing your technique. My class will include elements of Cunningham, Graham, and Release techniques. During Ballet class, we will focus on your technique and musicality as well as your performance skills and intentions. This class will compliment your grade work.

I have been doing hip hop over 10 years and competed in solo and crew battles. In my class I will be teaching everything from basic hip hop steps to advanced freestyling techniques and choreography. I will also be going over the history of hip hop dance and music. I have experience teaching students of all levels and age groups. I normally tailor my class to each individual student. I am happy to work with any level and I also prepare students for competitions.

Depending of the spaces (Webcam or on location) the class would differ. My main aim is for people to have access to a system of learning through which they can absorb and understand a practice that they could then bring with them wherever and whenever they want. My way of teaching involves for the moment 17 different chapter, involving improvisation tools (Movement), theatre exercises, stretching and fitness. All the classes are customised according to the students needs and objectives.

CircadianBodies is a Movement Practice blending contemporary Dance and Capoeira within the context of neuroscience and health of the contemporary body. A few words about me I am a dancer & educator with a background in release technique, Capoeira and somatic practices. My work blends improvisation, rhythm, and humour, shaped by both my artistic and scientific backgrounds—I hold a Master of Pharmacy from kings_college_london alongside a professional dance degree form @horohronos Athens and an MA from @theplacelondon. This intersection fuels my exploration of physical intelligence, emotional awareness, spatial connection. My choreographic work bridges disciplines, from NOSTOS: Migrating Bodies, Migrating Dances, merging Capoeira, Greek traditional dance, and VR, to 'Circadian Bodies', my evolving practice on biological rhythms and sensory movement, now taught at chisenhaledance Dance. I've researched with ferus.animi.terra.nova, bageorgeilias at Dance Athens and farofa_capoeira at Corpo Fechado. I have choreographed projects like 'Khaki Versus Colours’, Pessoas and NOSTOS, exploring socio-political themes through movement. I’m passionate about making movement accessible—whether in performance, teaching, or community work!

The house dance body class is a dynamic and energizing experience that lets you explore house dance rhythms and movements to a variety of house music (Afrotech, afro house, deep house etc...). The choreographies are designed to be both accessible and stimulating, encouraging individual creativity while cultivating a group spirit. In addition to the artistic dimension, this course offers an opportunity to work on coordination and body control, while building muscle and endurance. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this class is an invitation to excel and enjoy.
