In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals. Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I will focus on your strengths and guide you to how to use those to your advantage in learning. We will elicit your potential. With a little help, I am sure you will achieve the goals you set for yourself.

In the world of art, languages and cultures are a fundamental part of being able to understand each other and connect with each other in order to create something beautiful together, in my case music. Apart from being an artist, I like languages and learning them has become a passion for me, which is why I decided to take this passion to another level. During my classes I want to help you learn my native language, which is Latin American Spanish, in a personalized and dynamic way. The classes are separated by levels (A0-B2), where you will learn the grammar of the language but also vocabulary and expressions to use on a daily basis with other speakers of the language. My idea is that each student learns the language at their own pace but understanding and daring to speak it from the first day. Support material (book, exercises, audios, etc) is always included. I had several hours of conversation with Aideen, in order to improve my English, especially in speaking. The conversation was fluid, it's easy to talk with Aideen and she corrected me at the end of the lesson with lots of remarks and explanations that she had noted during our exchanges.
