I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

There's a big wild world out there, just waiting for you! In this course you will learn how to create your unique nature journal, with your own drawings of animals, plants and natural landscapes in and around Brussels. We will start with the basics of drawing and watercolour sketching in my studio or at your place, and then quickly move on to sketching from life outside. As you develop your nature journal, you will learn about, appreciate, and love the wildlife all around you, and create a lasting collection of memories in the pages of your journal.

Small Group Painting and Drawing lessons, any level! I am a classically trained painter, I have been painting seriously for 20 years and studied intensively in Florence, Italy. I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready. Landscape, still life, portrait, expressive. My goal is to help my students improve every time and reach new levels. I provide many examples from art history as well as my own work, and give lots of demonstrations. I offer a personalized approach fitted to each student. The classes are in a small group format and each student works at their own pace: private classes with other students present, offering a supportive and convivial environment in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve. I accept students who are looking for longer term learning, not one offs. The classes take place in my studio in Molenbeek, close to city center and easily reached with public transport.

The Visible World is a structured course in drawing, painting and visual perception. I have up to 3 years experience as a graphic designer and illustrator within a Book Publishing House. By being part of the bookmaking process from the very beginning, I shared my ideas in brainstorming meetings along with the account managers, the editorial team and the art director on the projects. I was able to grow my organizational and planning skills by creating designs for covers and interior layouts, by illustrating book covers and short stories, and by delivering print ready files for many projects at the same time. Besides licensed publishing and in-house projects, I am also involved in producing advertising materials for our projects, such as flyers, posters and banners for online and offline marketing and attention to details is my little name. Methodology The proposed teaching aims to develop the plastic qualities and the personality of the pupil through the drawing as well as his sense of the observation by various playful and inventive exercises. Do you want your kids to discover the joy of drawing and painting while naturally picking up Spanish along the way? Hello! My name is Rocio and I'm a Spanish Artist from Madrid giving private art lessons to kids in Brussels (Belgium). I studied Fine Arts and Visual Design in Madrid and graduated in 2020, ever since I have been working as a graphic designer and part-time private art teacher for kids. As an artist, I have a solid basis of materials, composition, shape and color, but I know those aren't essential skills when approaching art for the first time, the most important is the attitude towards it. As kids are always eager to try new materials, my lessons focus in experimenting through painting while having fun in the process, with the idea that painting is a really intuitive skill that everyone and anyone can enjoy. I can teach the lessons in English, Spanish and/or French and adapt to the needs and language level of my students.
