I’m a Music Producer with experience in sound design and composition for moving image. I have been using Ableton as my main daw for 12 years for electronic music production, ranging from pop and experimental music to studio recording sessions. 
In the last few years, I’ve been focusing on assisting producers and songwriters with developing and improving their live electronic performance workflow. I can also provide consultancy on this topic, whether you’re interested in performing or rearranging your material. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to discover the basics of Ableton Live or learn new music production techniques to extend their practice. Music Production for Beginners ​ My personally designed Music Production course is aimed at complete beginners who have the desire to discover how to compose, record and produce their own music. The course is structured in a way that will enable you to make the style of music you love. It is ideal for aspiring composer’s, producer’s, musicians and sound engineer’s. For this course you will have the opportunity to learn either Logic Pro or Ableton Live (GarageBand is also an option to get you underway), both are industry leading digital audio workstations (DAW). Each session is tailored to your personal interests and goals, exploring both the theory and practical applications of working techniques and practices, in order to provide you with a solid foundation of the overall production process. Lessons are held one-to-one to allow you to learn at your own pace and receive the resources and support you require. We’ll work directly with your own music wherever possible, using it as the basis for focused, practical progress. We can also analyse and deconstruct released tracks that inspire you, breaking down structure, sound choices, and production techniques so you can apply them to your own work. Alongside this, I’m happy to share insight from my own projects and releases, offering perspective on creative decision-making, workflow, and long-term development as an artist. For those interested in sound design, sessions can cover synthesis, samplers, effects, routing, modular and practical ways to get the most out of the tools you already use, whether software or hardware. Ableton Live is the new standard for electronic music. Its very easy to learn and with only a couple of lessons you will be able to start making your own music! Used by almost all EDM, House, Deep House and even Pop artists it is the must-have tool in the new decade. In our classes we will go over making beats, basic music theory, song-writing techniques and production techniques including advanced sound design with synthesizers. If requested, we can also move on to mixing to make your tracks sound just like what you hear on the radio. I specialize in Ableton Live and have released albums on multiple record labels. I hold a degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music School and I am currently the Music Content Manager at Vochlea Music and the lead Ableton tutorial writer for Attack Magazine.
