A course specially designed for French-speaking musicians looking to travel, tour or collaborate with English-speaking musicians. Vocabulary, professional jargon, email correspondence etiquette, etc. We are also working on pronunciation. Scenarios, break-ins, recordings, glossaries and other materials will be provided to the student.
My method synthesizes the strongest aspects of the French and American schools, and is oriented by an empowering pedagogical format teaching the student auto-listening skills so they can continue to build knowledge and ease on the instrument outside of the studio. The studio also holds two group masterclasses per year. I teach beginners, intermediate students, and do intensive coachings with advanced students who are looking to prepare a program or audition. Nous travaillons la sonorité, le rhythme, l'articulation, le phrasé et la musique de chambre (duos).
