During a lesson I encourage the student to work on: posture, breathing and the position of the mouth (embouchure), helping the projection of sound; the development of the tone; i teach the student how to phrase and play a beautiful melody; techniques of improvisation; understanding harmony; having confidence in his/her playing skills; techniques of listening and interacting with the rhythm section; learning new songs and experiencing different styles of music; Introductions to key saxophonists. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field.
