I have lived 9 years of my life outside of Hungary out of which 4 years were in China and 5 years were in Canada. I got to experience what it is like to move from one culture to another and also had the opportunity to experience different educational systems. Hungarian is my native language but I learned to read and write in English sooner than in Hungarian. My entire life I have enjoyed working with people and since the beginning of my adult years that passion has taken form in teaching. I have 9 years of teaching experience at every level and almost every age starting from early elementary school to the elderly. I have taught and am teaching staff and management of multiple companies in Budapest, however I did teach English in a Hungarian elementary school for 2 years as well. Currently, next to the cooperation with companies I greatly enjoy having private lessons with students from all walks of life. I offer classes which are specifically designed for the needs of each student. This can mean that we work on how to have meaningful conversations at a workplace or simply to catch up with basic English for school. If you have some trouble reading this text we can work on your grammar or vocabulary too! Our goal will be to meet your needs! If you would like to study with a few friends we can make that happen too! Location and Time: Classes can be held online, in person at your place or in a coffee shop wich suits us both. My hours of availability varries since my schedule follows the schedule of the current students. The easiest is if we get in touch and discuss the hours of availability! If you would like to take lessons with me feel free to get in touch! - Mate

I choose to teach English because it is a powerful language that can open up many opportunities for people. English is a global language and is used widely in many different countries. As a teacher, I believe that I can help spread knowledge and understanding of the English language to students of all ages. With this knowledge, students can better understand their environment, better communicate with others, and gain access to new career options. I also believe that teaching English can help foster an appreciation for cultural diversity and bridge the communication gap between different cultures. To me, teaching English is more than a job; it is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students. Essentially, lessons will be tailored to your needs, so you will be in charge of what you would like to focus on. My classes aim to cover the fundamentals of the English language including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will build their vocabulary and grammar skills through a variety of activities and exercises. You will also practice conversational English. Additionally, you will develop your critical thinking and analytical skills by exploring literature, current events, and other topics of interest you may wish to engage in. We can start with the basics, such as the parts of speech, sentence structure, and punctuation. Then move on to more advanced topics such as grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. We can also cover more specialised topics such as idioms, collocations, and phrasal verbs, or any particular area you may choose. You can focus on improving reading comprehension, writing skills, and listening comprehension. Each lesson will include a variety of activities such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises. I am qualified to teach adults and children, so all are welcome.

[ENGLISH BELOW] After obtaining my Master FLE, I completed my training thanks to an internship in a French school in Japan which allowed me to put into practice what I had studied. I also worked for 3 French schools in Tokyo for 5 years. I like to teach in a fun way while adapting to the student's objectives. Want to study French for an exam? For a future trip? By cultural interest (literature, cinema, theater etc.)? No problem, I will offer you a course that will be adapted so that we can achieve this objective together with joy and good humor :-). I have already taught French to people of all profiles; absolute beginners, experienced people (level C1), children (from 4 years old) and adults. I teach every day (weekdays and weekends) from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. _______FRANÇAIS_______ After my Master degree in FLE (degree to teach French), I taught French in Japan in 3 different schools for 5 years. I like to teach in a fun way and I always keep the objective of the student in mind. Tell me what you like and what your objective is and I'll offer courses adapted to your needs and interests :-). I've already taught to at least 100 students who had different profiles, needs and interests: Some wanted to know more about French literature, some wanted to travel to France or another French-speaking country, some wanted to pass an exam (DELF for example) or some even wanted to start learning french from 0. I can teach to people who have never studied French at all or people with a good level already , adults, children (from 4 years old). I can teach everyday (week days and weekends from 7AM to 11PM).

I am a college professor who teaches Political Science courses but I also possess a GA Level 5 TEFL Diploma. I have been teaching young adults (16+) for over 25 years. I would welcome the opportunity to help you improve your business language skills or simply work with you on your conversational English. As a published author, I have very strong writing skills and can help you improve your proposals, reports, or cover letters. I will happily work with you to devise a short or longer-term curriculum appropriate for the skills you need to develop. If you are interested in seeking employment or attending university in America, I will also expose you to culture, aiding in your transition! Our lessons will typically focus on developing your conversational language and idiomatic phrasing skills, however, I will also provide targeted tutoring on your grammar to ensure there are no gaps as you move to fluency. I will assist you in recognizing and reducing problematic errors in pronunciation (i.e. [/v/, /b/ and /w/] present among Germanic/Slavic language speakers, the [/ch/sh/ and 'dreaded' e-s/ e-d for native Spanish speakers, as well as the /z/ for native Asian-language speakers). For French speakers, putting the "h" where is belongs :) and working on those prepositions and articles! While I recognize the individuality and richness that YOUR L1 dialect brings to your adopted L2 of English, if there are aspects of your L1 dialect that you are self-conscious about when speaking English, I will help you develop techniques to reduce and potentially, eliminate them. I do use my own materials, but these materials are supplemented with podcasts, short videos, film recommendations, and other sources for current and timely events and popular culture. I do provide homework if you would like to have more opportunities to practice. I do not have the requisite training to work with children and I would recommend you select another tutor who specializes in working with small children if you are seeking a tutor to help your child. I have considerable flexibility in my schedule so please feel free to reach out to me and ask if a time is available if you do not see it on my schedule---I would be happy to book you in for a tutorial if that works for both of us!
