When we want to learn–be it at school, at work, from books, or from a website on the internet, beside a student there always has to be a teacher. Someone who conveys their message in the most appropriate way, and helps the student to understand the subject of learning. Different teachers, writers, and corporate leaders have different ways of conveying their message to their audience, different teaching styles.

Math lessons are designed to help students to understand and acquire mathematical knowledge. To enable them in gaining knowledge of algebra, equations and other concepts of mathematics. Generally addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are the main topics of maths. Lessons will be planned linking previous activities with new knowledge and applications. English lessons will be planned with a clear introduction not to make students confused. Without spending too much time new knowledge segment will be started after that and a knowledge check will follow right after new learning. Worksheets with exercises would help to understand their level of knowledge. Last minute is reserved for a wrap-up.

Math is not as difficult as it seems. If you quote examples from real life, you will find it really interesting and in fact easy to understand. Everyone needs to do some calculations, irrespective of what they do. I like making challenging topics easier to understand and to know the struggling areas of students and work on them to make him confident and good in that particular topic.

Aimed towards students who struggle to understand difficult topics in Mathematics at GCSE level. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I offer alternative perspectives in tricky concepts in all topics in this subject. At GCSE, I scored 9 in mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I am current taking standard mathematics in the International Baccalaureate which I am currently predicted to score an 7. I feel confident and competent to support any young person with their mathematical journey. Based on the fact that I currently support my classmates in IB course with their mathematics inquiries and students studying higher tier students at IB.

I am a primary school teacher with many years of experience especially in KS1. Being a KS1 LA Moderator and a Year 2 teacher for many years, I have plenty of experience achieving high results with the SATs and phonic assessments. My goal is to help students feel more confident with their test taking abilities in preparation for the exams as well as ensuring they are comfortable with the information that is covered within the papers, giving them the best chance at achieving the pass mark. My teaching method is allowing the student to take practice tests in order to assess their strengths and weaknesses, focussing on the areas they struggle with whilst maintaining their strengths in order to improve their marks.
