Just done your mock exams? Are you ready to pull your grades all the way up? Or maybe looking to secure your 'safe' grade? Look no further. As a full time Data Lead and Exams Officer at Conisborough College, I have a unique view of performance metrics, and the latest knowledge on GCSE exams. With a specialism in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, my style of teaching is an expression of my experiences as a student and a tutor. My past tutoring experiences range from teaching secondary school classrooms and a lot of work with 1-on-1's. While I have had State Schooling my successful early experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) set me up with a solid foundation and ideal to approach exams by myself and eventually find my area of expertise in everything Maths and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy is always textbook oriented. My principle in education has always been to know what I don't know and then deal with my not-knowing of that chapter/area. I like to use what is known/understood as a warm up and get creative with it, probing the student's baselines and tactics. The warm up also gives you the winning-feeling about the subject and this is a feeling that grows and brings clarity such that it guides me year in, year out to go and understand every chapter to answer every topical exam question, and it can for you too. I offer in person, and online teaching and am willing to provide references on demand, but first let's have a video call to discuss your needs further! Do you speak French? Have you just passed your practice exams? Are you ready to boost your grades? Or perhaps you're just looking to secure your "safe" grade? Look no further. As Data Lead and Exams Manager at Conisborough College, I have unique insight into performance metrics and the latest developments in GCSE exams. Specializing in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, my teaching approach reflects my experiences as a student and tutor. I have extensive teaching experience, both in classrooms in secondary schools and in individual tutoring sessions. Although I received a state education, my successful experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) gave me a solid foundation and an ideal method for approaching exams independently. This is how I was able to specialize in Mathematics and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy always relies on textbooks. My learning principle is simple: identify what I don't know, then address those gaps. I like to start with what is already known and understood, using it as a warm-up. This allows me to assess the student's level and strategies, while making learning more dynamic and creative. This warm-up also gives you a sense of achievement, which strengthens over time and provides essential clarity. It's this approach that has allowed me, year after year, to assimilate each chapter and be able to answer each exam question. It can do the same for you. I offer in-person and online classes and can provide references upon request. But first, let's discuss your needs over a video call!

Dynamic and motivated teacher of 33 years (Graduate of EDHEC, Scientific Baccalaureate with honors, 2 years of preparatory class EC scientific option and 5 years of experience in private home-based courses), I propose courses and intensive reviews in Mathematics all levels and all sections until the Terminale. Control of achievements, awareness of a practical methodology by writing cards, intensive training in solving typical exercises. Make room for practice rather than theory in order to optimize the time spent together in solving typical exercises requiring a method (noted together on a form with the course associated with it). The goal is to react in the best way possible to a statement.

Hello everyone, My name is Paul-Henry and I am currently a third year engineering student at Centrale Paris on a gap year internship in London. I offer support courses in math / physics for high school students and students in upper classes. After obtaining a bac S with mention TB, I did 3 years of preparatory classes and then joined Centrale Paris. I am convinced that the difficulties experienced by most students are due to a lack of confidence caused by a lack of methodology. And the essential point that I was able to retain from my academic experience is: rigor and method are the key words, in their absence the student will only feel powerless in the face of the exercises that he will have to solve. My methodology therefore consists in acquiring a fine understanding of the course before tackling exercises of increasing difficulty with an emphasis on the resolution process. This allows the student to mobilize his knowledge by demonstrating method and rigor.

I specialise in tutoring Maths, English Language, English Literature and cooking skills for primary mainstream and SEN children. I create opportunities for students to develop a strong knowledge of the foundations in these subjects. I also have experience of teaching gifted and talented primary children. Students are encouraged to look for connections, problem solve and be creative in their learning. I tutor essential skills, therefore even cooking classes involve mathematical learning opportunities! Learning can involve key focus areas that I will base assess at the start, review and chart student's progress. I can offer practical advice to parent/carers and assist with homework activities. We can work alongside the school/classroom curriculum where I can also provide a deeper learning of current school learning. I can provide learning that is engaging, challenging and rewarding. Looking forward to meeting you.

"Science is all around us" is a reason often given by teachers to encourage students to learn. But how exactly does it work? I am happy to help with understanding of physics as well as maths. My goal is to make learning enjoyable with focus on progression and expanding knowledge and understanding of student. Whether it is a homework (one of time) or preparation for exam, I'll help you to understand the subject and ensure you feel confident around the topic.

Specialized tutoring for maths, physics and chemistry A-Level's and GCSE's. I like to fuse better exam performances (improving exam techniques for example) with a deeper understanding of the subject. "Give a student proper exam technique, and you teach him for a test. Teach a student to think, and you teach him for a lifetime." Both approaches are valid, but I believe I add substantial value to students education by developing a deeper understanding of a subject in addition to testing practice. I also provide general problem solving tutoring beneficial for professional tests, school entry exams and those who just want to improve their critical thinking.
