My name is Bastien, I studied Physics for my Bachelor's at EPFL and a Master's in Quantum Engineering at ETH. During my studies, I was a Teaching Assistant for classes in Electromagnetism, Fluid Dynamics, Analysis, and Special Relativity. I also gave private lessons to students in need before their exams. Through these experiences, I discovered that no matter your level we all tend to get stuck in front of math equations at one point or another. We get lost in the details and seem to be unable to see the big picture, to understand where all of this is going, and why any of it is useful at all. In these classes, I want to help you deal with these issues. It doesn't matter if you are in middle school, high school, or starting your Bachelor's. The goal of these classes is to help you cultivate the skills needed not only to improve your grades but also to be a better problem solver. I will help you develop your passion and curiosity for mathematics. The passion that you maybe never knew you had! We will look at mathematics not as a monolithic entity but as a language. Ultimately, mathematical excellence can be decomposed into four primary skills: memory, patience, curiosity, and creativity. During this class, we will: 🟢 Assess in which areas you are struggling 🟢 Come up with a plan tailored to your needs 🟢 Fill in the gaps in your understanding 🟢 Stay up to date with the content of your classes Mathematics in the end is not about the mathematics themselves. I recommend Khalil without a doubt to anyone looking to improve his/her German level in both writing and speaking. He is a very professional, structured and knowledgeable teacher. He was able to immediately evaluate my level of German during the very first lesson and adjust the teaching methodology and materials accordingly. I am truly impressed with his patience and dedication towards teaching the proper German pronunciation with all its complexities and difficulties as well as the proper rules when it comes to grammar and language. We also had lessons using Skype which is also a good option for those who have a limited amount of spare time or are too far apart from the teacher. It is obvious that Khalil loves what he is doing and is willing to put all his effort into his passion. I wholeheartedly recommend Khalil for anyone wanting to learn the language.

Yogesh has been preparing me for the OMPT-A test for the last few weeks and has clearly explained all the chapters that we have gone through so far. He has prepared slides show for each tutoring lesson, that clearly explained the topic and included mathematical questions which would check my knowledge. He is always opened to feedback and any questions that I may have if I don't understand something. He has also given me additional questions to practice after the lessons to improve my knowledge. Now I feel more prepared and confident that I will pass the test. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

Miss Sara is a very good teacher. She has a way to keep my 6 year old daughter engaged and encouraged while increasing her abilities in French. I have seen my daughter improve drastically. She challenges her and she started reading many words in the space of 3 months when she could not before in French. The exercises she gives touches a wide range of topics (syllables, vocabulary, sentance building etc) that has allowed my English speakig daughter to cope well in her French school environment. She started understanding what people say to her in French which is amazing.
