Trusted teacher: Methodology : Do you have math difficulties? You do not understand your course or you do not know how to apply it? Are you losing a lot of points due to miscalculations? Do you want to improve your Parcoursup file or calmly prepare for the bac? The good news is that doing math isn't as hard as you might think. My method: Over the last 10 years, I have supported more than a hundred students. I have noticed that poor results in mathematics generally come from inadequate methodology (not knowing how to read or understand a statement well, not knowing how to write mathematical reasoning, etc.), from poorly assimilated automatisms (sign errors. ..) and a lack of practice. As a math teacher, my role is not only to teach you my subject. It is above all to give you the necessary tools to allow you to progress sustainably and achieve your academic and personal goals. First session The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know each other and determine your current level in math, what are your strengths and weaknesses, and what goals you want to achieve. Based on this observation, I define with the student and his parents an educational strategy (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons, working hours) to best meet your expectations. Course schedule: The courses are generally structured in 5 stages: 1. At the start of the session: I check with the student if he has completed the work (homework, exercises, etc.) requested by his teacher. I answer the questions you may ask: poorly understood points from the course, errors not understood, etc. 2. From there, I will go over the poorly understood points of the course with you. I will make you rework the mathematical methodology: how to read a statement well, how to solve a mathematical problem. If you have a check, I will analyze your old DSTs to determine what your recurring errors are. This will allow me to determine some areas for improvement to rework to improve your performance during the next checks. 3. I will give you several exercises so that you can put into practice the concepts seen in class and appropriate the working methods studied together. 4. At the end of the course, I will give you a summary sheet with: To. Mathematical concepts to know and some typical examples. b. Your main points of difficulty to rework. vs. Tips and strategies to overcome your difficulties. 5. Finally, I will give you some exercises of a level of difficulty similar to those worked on together. This will allow you to review the concepts seen together on your own and to assimilate your course over the long term. Important: In case of difficulty, you can send me your questions 7 days a week by email or on Whatsapp. So I can help you overcome your sticking points without having to wait for the next session. Ideal in case of DM or DST to prepare. Interested? Contact me. I will accompany you to help you achieve your goals! Goodbye. PS: Do you have a friend in the same class as you? Do not hesitate to bring him / her.

Trusted teacher: Education: I hold a PhD in Physics and Applied Mathematics from the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. Focus of my project was modeling and understanding the glacial cycles using mathematical models. During my PhD, I have collaborated with researchers in Applied Mathematics from different research groups in Europe. I also hold a Bachelor and Master's degrees in Physics. I graduated full marks with honours in Physics from La Sapienza, University of Rome. Work & teaching experience: Since my university studies, I have been working or volunteering as a Math and Physics tutor, helping mostly high schools and college students. During my PhD at Copenhagen University, I was teaching assistant in 3 Full Master's Degree courses. I also worked as a high school math teacher. Other work experience include content creation (Physics explanations) and research. What I have learnt from my experience as a tutor: I believe it is only when you are able to explain difficult concepts in a clear and simple way, that you can consider yourself a good teacher! I did not have a good math teacher when I was in high school. I recall almost hating doing my Math homework! Luckily, after taking a few math classes with a really good tutor, I changed my mind completely. And here I am :-) Class description: depending on the student's background and preferences, I usually prepare some material (theory, exercises, examples, etc...) that the student can use to strengthen their skills. I am also available outside the class for homework and support.

Trusted teacher: My name is Maximilien, Master's degree in aeronautical engineering at ULB. I have been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry since 2017, so I have experience and good contact with students. For several years I have been living in Portugal where I am working on a reforestation project in the South-West of Alentejo so I cannot give lessons on site, only by webcam. I mainly use Zoom. I stopped giving science lessons for two years to concentrate on my work here but this winter I gave kitesurfing lessons for a season in Nicaragua and it really made me want to get back in touch with science. education. The principle of my courses is often academic support, so I base myself on the course given and I try to re-explain the concepts. Organizational level, a single course can be requested, for example in the case of a particular subject point which is misunderstood, but it is also possible to organize regular monitoring of the student. What I love about math classes is trying to spark a student, which will make them understand a subject. I say it often but above all, don't hesitate to tell me if things are misunderstood, things can be explained in many different ways and I don't mind if I have to start over ten times, each one having its own logic. which is not always the same as that commonly taught in mathematics and science! I teach from first secondary school to university baccalaureate graduates (in the case of more advanced baccalaureate courses, not all of them are necessarily within my reach or a little preparation may be necessary for the course to run smoothly). Lets just say i haven't been back to school in 10 years. Mayur was the best tutor i could ask for. He helped me get a clear understanding of all the math problems, after just one lesson i could already see improvement. Besides being a kind person he has great patience and all the skill required to help anyone succeed. Because of his great teaching i was able to integrate back into school easily and pass my test with no problem. He has given me the confidence to continue learning and pushing forward in my education. Thank you Again for being so great! He means it when he said all you need is you mind a paper and a pen to learn. I would recommend him to anyone.
