Trusted teacher: Enriching Music Program for Schools & Groups: Theory, Instruments, Singing & Ensembles Discover the transformative power of music for your students or community group! This comprehensive and dynamic music program is designed to provide a rich, engaging, and collaborative musical experience for groups of all ages and skill levels. My approach is student-centered and hands-on, moving beyond dry theory to foster a genuine love for music. Whether your goal is to supplement the school curriculum, start an after-school program, or provide a creative outlet for your community, this class offers a structured yet flexible pathway. What I Offer: This program is built on four key elements, which can be tailored to your group's specific interests and needs: 1. Music Theory Made Fun: · Understand the language of music through interactive games and activities. · Learn to read notes, rhythms, and basic musical symbols. · Explore scales, chords, and harmony in an accessible way. · Connect theory directly to listening and practical music-making. 2. Introduction to Instruments: · A hands-on experience with various instrument families (strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and keyboard). · Students learn the basics of sound production, proper holding techniques, and care for different instruments. · This module is perfect for helping students discover which instrument they might like to pursue seriously. 3. Confident Singing & Vocal Technique: · Develop healthy vocal habits through proper breathing, posture, and vocal warm-ups. · Build confidence in singing in tune (pitch matching) and harmonizing with others. · Explore a diverse repertoire, from classical and folk to modern popular music. 4. Music Ensemble Formation (The Grand Finale!): · This is where the magic happens! Students apply their skills by making music together. · I will guide and coach your group in forming and sustaining musical ensembles such as: · Choir: Developing blend, harmony, and performance skills. · Band: (Rock, Pop, Jazz) Featuring guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. · Orchestra/String Ensemble: For classical instrumentation. · Percussion Ensembles: Using drums, xylophones, and found sounds. · Custom Groups: Any other combination the group is passionate about! My Teaching Methodology: · Inclusive & Supportive: I create a safe environment where every student feels encouraged to participate and explore without judgment. · Collaborative Focus: Music is a social art. My lessons emphasize listening, teamwork, and the joy of creating something together. · Adaptable Curriculum: I work with organizers to design a program that fits your educational goals, timeframe, and the specific interests of the group. Who is this class for? · Primary and Secondary Schools (as a curriculum supplement or after-school club) · Community Centers & Youth Groups · Homeschool Co-ops · Corporate Well-being Teams (for team-building activities) · Any organized group looking for a structured musical experience! Trusted teacher: Graduate in Performing Arts from TAI University Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s in Music Therapy from UNED Specialized jazz studies at Berklee College of Music and Escuela de Música Creativa Studies in singing styles and vocal physiology at Nina Academia Vocal recovery training with LaxVox at Aurea Speech Therapy Clinic I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

Sam is an amazing teacher, patient and open to the student's goals and suggestions. His approach is more technical than theoretical but will nonetheless get anyone willing to learn up to speed on the basics into more advanced notions. He assessed what I was already able to do on the guitar to fill the gaps and help me progress into further fields. So far he's taught me the electric guitar, a bit of bass and piano and I'm very happy about all of it.

Stephen's lesson on harmony was just what I needed! I had a few specific questions to brush up on, and he explained everything super clearly and in a way that made it easy to apply to my work. He's knowledgeable and approachable—I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of music theory! Or if you're like me and need a quick refresh of all the things you forgot years ago from school 😅
