My piano class is designed for students who wish to develop as complete musicians, not only as technicians. The work is centered on building a solid technical foundation, a deep understanding of musical structure, and the ability to make independent, thoughtful interpretative decisions. Technical work is approached systematically and intelligently, always in direct relation to repertoire. Sound production, control of touch, balance, voicing, articulation, and efficient movement at the keyboard are fundamental elements of the lessons. Technical issues are never treated mechanically, but as tools serving musical intention. A strong emphasis is placed on score reading and musical understanding: harmony, form, counterpoint, rhythm, and stylistic awareness. Students are guided to understand why a piece works the way it does, not only how to play it. This analytical clarity allows for freedom, confidence, and consistency in performance. Interpretation is approached with respect for the text and historical context, while encouraging the student to develop a personal and honest musical voice. Different stylistic periods—from Baroque to contemporary music—are addressed with appropriate aesthetic and technical considerations. Lessons are demanding but supportive. The goal is to help each student progress at their own pace, while cultivating discipline, curiosity, and artistic responsibility. The class is suitable for students who are motivated, open-minded, and willing to engage deeply with the music. Ultimately, the aim is not only preparation for exams, auditions, or concerts, but the formation of a musician who can think independently, practice efficiently, and maintain a lifelong, meaningful relationship with music.

Thao is a successful performing pianist and teacher, who is working internationally across Europe. Thao grew up in Warsaw (Poland) where she started the piano and studied at the Chopin Academy. Thao also studied at the Manhattan School of Music (New York, USA), and the Royal College of Music (London, UK). As a performing pianist, Thao has performed recitals and concerts in Poland, the USA, UK, Sweden, and Vietnam. As a teacher, Thao has helped countless students achieve their very best potential. Many students have been awarded distinctions for ABRSM exams for the piano and Grade 5 theory. Students have also been offered music scholarships to leading independent schools in the London area. Thao has been teaching for over 16 years and has spent the last 5 years also teaching online using Skype and FaceTime. Thao is fluent in, and able to teach in Polish, Vietnamese, Russian, and English.

I am a clarinet player, graduated teacher and experienced concert performer, I offer clarinet lessons for all levels and different genres (classical music, film music, klezmer music, folk music, electronic music...). I have dedicated myself to perfecting my art under the guidance of internationally renowned artists and I have performed in chamber music groups as well as in orchestra and as a soloist throughout Europe, United States and Japan. We can work together on the instrument, breathing, resonance, mouth, fingers, technique, relaxation, posture, solfège, musical interpretation, stage presence... It is not necessary to know the music theory to start the clarinet, I can follow you from beginner level to preparation for examination and conservatory exams to advanced specialization classes. Pieces can be adapted to the levels and desires of the students. All ages, 8 to 80 years old :) Courses at my home in Sundbyberg or at the student's home. I teach theory for all grades, specialising in ABRSM theory. I have access to many past papers. I have also created exercises to help my students. When a students stuggle with an exercise, I create exercises to help master it. Theory should be easy! I aim to have students take Grade 5 theory in 2 terms. About Me I am a friendly teacher, who will help you achieve your desired goal for music theory. I have been teaching live for 15 years, and online for 8 years. As long as your internet connection is good, skype can be almost as good as being in the same room. I have studied with many of the leading teachers in Europe and the USA. I started my education at Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music (London), where I studied with James Sleigh for five years. I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, and the National Youth Strings Academy. I the studied my Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music (London), where I studied with Andriy Viytovych. I have a Masters of Music from Trinity Laban College of Music and Dance (London), studying under Roger Chase, and a Masters in Fine Art from Gothenburg University (Sweden) with Øvyor Volle (Vertavo Quartet). I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts. I work as a professional viola player across the UK and Scandinavia, with such orchestras as Swedish Radio Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic, Bergen, Norwegian Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Jonkoping Sinfonietta, Aarhus Symphony, and English National Ballet Philharmonic. I am also a music arranger and transcriber. I can give lessons once or twice a week. Please note that twice a week does allow for fast progression. Lessons can be at my home in Stockholm, or online. Indian Classical music/Carnatic music was perhaps the less known forms of music to the world until 2000. Recently, there has been significant efforts and interest by people to know more about it and even learn this form of music because it gives you peace and even makes you a rounded individual when you learn it. Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio.
