Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realised how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music. Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges. For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations. I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

FR / NL / EN FR: Each student has their own goals, tastes, and learning style. Therefore, I tailor the course to each student's level and expectations. For a beginner, we gradually work on posture, technique, reading and the first notions of music theory while quickly playing pieces. For a more advanced student, the work may be more oriented towards interpretation, technique, musical analysis, accompaniment or preparation for an exam or audition. Music theory is naturally integrated into the piano course so that it can be used directly for musical practice: reading a score, understanding the rhythm, the tones, the chords and the structure of a piece. I also offer personalized support for preparing for conservatory entrance exams. NL: Elke leerling heeft zijn de haar eigen doelstellingen, muzikale voorkeuren en manier van leren. Daarom stem ik elke les af op het level en de verwachtingen van de leerling. For beginners we work with you on a sound track, techniques, notes and the basis of music theory, we know that this is the music you play. You can also focus on interpretation, technology, music analysis, piano performance and audit examination. Music theory is a natural way to handle piano music, there are two strings that tend to be used in music practices: light scores, rhythms can be played, toonaarden in akkoorden are included in the structure of the music. I also have people who are interested in your teaching exams at the conservatory. IN : Each student has their own goals, musical preferences, and way of learning. I therefore tailor each lesson to their level and individual expectations. For beginners, we progressively work on posture, technique, reading music, and the basics of music theory, while quickly learning and playing actual pieces. For more advanced students, the lessons can focus more on interpretation, technique, musical analysis, accompaniment, or preparation for an exam or audition. Music theory is naturally integrated into the piano lessons so that it directly supports musical practice: reading a score, understanding rhythm, keys, chords, and the structure of a piece. I also offer personalized guidance for preparing entrance examinations for conservatories.

I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to the most advanced. What do my students notice most? Their rapid progress. Thanks to individualized teaching methods adapted to each student, I ensure that every lesson is both effective and motivating. I pay particular attention to rhythm, musical ear and understanding of music — not just to the execution of notes. Lessons at my home are given on a grand piano. Courses can be given in French, English, or Chinese. I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. What my students notice most? Transverse flute classes. All ages from 7 to 107 years old! Recorder and/or piano lessons for beginners too! I was principal flute at the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw (Poland) and have over 45 years of experience teaching repertoire, solo, chamber music and orchestra. Over the years I have developed my method of Conscious Flute Playing, which has allowed me and my students to make the flute sing as we wish. Thanks to this we can learn music theory passively as we go through the pieces. There is also the opportunity to participate in student concerts in Brussels twice a year (December and June). Intensive courses before entering the conservatory, competitions etc. also available on request!
