My name is Bijayashree. I am an Indian/Hindustani Classical Vocalist and a graded artist of All India Radio, Prasar Bharati, based in Zurich. I am teaching Hindustani classical music since 2011 both to children and adults (in groups, private and also Skype) and currently also a teacher at Ateliers d'ethno musicology, Geneva.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.

- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.
- Sing in a variety of techniques and styles- become a versatile singer!

I have an acute ear for detail and upon our first session and hearing you we will be able to discuss your voice and how to move forward.

I am a pianist and lyrical soprano. I have a pedagogical Master Degree in Singing and now I am studying Master Performance at the ZHdK, Zürich.
I offer vocal technique and repertoire lessons for any style of music.

I offer beginners and advanced players professional instrumental lessons for viola. I will try to work towards your goals and requirements so that you can develop as a musician. My teaching is technically precise on the one hand, but it also promotes your musical creativity and enthusiasm, for example by making music together. Perhaps you are already playing the violin and would like to switch to the viola to play in the orchestra or in a chamber music ensemble, or you are curious about the somewhat less familiar instrument of the string family.
