I am specialized in giving flute, piccolo, recorder, panflute and saxophone lessons to both children and adults. I do this both privately and in the form of (short) courses during school hours or as an after-school activity at primary schools.

I love teaching students at all levels, whether you're a beginner or ready for Broadway. I emphasize healthy, safe and sustainable singing for all of my students. My four tent-poles are technique, acting, repertoire selection and audition preparation. I primarily teach using material from all eras of Musical Theater as well as standards from the American Songbook. I also use art songs occasionally to help students develop their skills.

As we improve your breath support, increase your range, develop your vocal strength and power, and explore the material that fits you best, we will discover your unique, authentic singing voice. Your singing voice should match the tone and color of your speaking voice, and the different registers of your voice should all sound like the same person. Rather than teaching you how to sing like your favorite performer, I am here to help you learn how to sing as the best possible version of yourself. And to help you learn how to do it safely and reliably.

Learning an instrument can benefit your brain, your memory, your physical health, the stress, your mood or your patience. There is no better activity than learning music!

If you are a beginner, in this lessons, you will learn the basic technique and musical terms, and you will develop your imagination and musicality.

Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of violin playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and violinist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (basic) Dutch.

My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified violinist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a (very) consciously prepared healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones!

I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the violin playing which includes: Introduction to Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too.

Occasionally, there are student concerts and collaborations with other teachers. (These may include some teachers from the Sweelinck Academy or the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and more).

From among the required tools for my lessons are: a violin and a bow, score and books purchases when necessary, and, from time to time, meetings with the parents. On occasion, I use digital tools like phone/tablet apps.

I can teach in various places near or in the center of Amsterdam, or, depending on the need, I can move to pretty much wherever in The Netherlands.

About the homework, I send it to the students on a weekly basis and encourage them to participate on competitions and summer music courses. As always, this is conditional on the pupil's stage.

With beginning guitarists I will be able to go through songs at level with the student that they can choose themselves or I will come up with something suitable to learn. With completely new guitarists I will be able to go through basic guitar theory. Guitar is difficult to learn but I am capable of explaining theory in a fun and informative way.
