English is the official language of 53 countries around the world, so it is important to learn it. Additionally, art is crucial for children's early developmental skills. It gives them the opportunity to communicate their emotions creatively and boost their confidence. My younger students will learn spelling, grammar and pronunciation of English by providing them with fun homework so they will be eager to learn more. As for math, I will be using toys, dice, puzzles and such to help engage them and create a lighter environement. My goal is to create a safe and exciting learning environment for them to avoid any stress.

I will begin my first sessions with the kids with a 5 minute back and forth conversation to get to know them more, hence understanding and learn more about their interests and talents.

About Me

I am 22 years old. I was born and raised here in Amman, but I am half American, and regularly visit the States. I enjoy spending leisure time with my family and friends by watching movies together, enjoying lunch together and trying different foods, and much more. I also enjoy taking time for myself and focusing on my mental health by journaling, doing yoga with friends, and meditating.

I absolutely love working with kids in anyway I can. I am a very creative person who loves art and writing; just expressing myself in creative ways. I am patient and committed, and want to provide a helping hand to students to help them reach their full potential. I am able to facilatate a powerful learning experience, while also allowing my students to dictate some of their lessons and lead with curiosity.

Education

I graduated high school from the American Community School, then did a year and a half in California for University. When corona began spreading and everything started shutting down, I decided to return to Amman and took courses at the School of Audio Engineering. I am now working on my bachelors degree online.

Experience / Qualifications

Ever since I was 13, I have loved working with younger kids. From teaching at a tennis club in the States, to babysitting my high school teacher's children and help them with their homework. I now have a 3 year old niece who is my best friend, and I spent the last month taking her and picking her up from pre-school, and I couldn't have asked for anything better than that.
