My name is Wilma, and I have been playing the cello for most of my life. I am passionate about teaching, and have a lot of experience with it. In my lessons, there is a good balance between technique and musicality. Knowing how to (technically) play the cello is important for being able to express yourself on it, and making beautiful music is the reason we play! I involve my students in the process of investigating problems and experimenting with solutions. This gives people a better understanding of the challenges, and motivates them to engage with those. It is particularly interesting that every person has a different way of learning and different needs, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to each student's personality, requirements and tastes, so she or he can optimally learn. Above all, I love inspiring people, seeing them discover their own aptitude for music and growing as musicians. Playing the cello is a wonderful and fun experience and I heartily welcome anyone who would like to come on this adventure! I teach in Amsterdam on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in Zaandam in Thursdays, and in Utrecht on Saturdays.

My aim is to provide an easily accessible, yet fun, and rewarding experience for anyone that is interested or curious about learning the cello. I hope to give exciting and suitably challenging lessons which will create and sustain motivation and determination. You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

Hello, My name is Jaime and I am a Spanish clarinet player, composer, and teacher. With over years of experience playing the clarinet and having immersed myself in teaching for the last few years, I am currently completing my professional studies in clarinet and composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professors Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orkest) and Hans Colbert (Residentie Orkest Den Haag). I see teaching not only as a way to pass on my (still growing) knowledge but also as a way to learn along with my students in a cheerful and inspiring way. During our classes, we will learn the basics of clarinet playing, as well as how to use these basics to build your own way of playing and learn simple songs, intermediate pieces, or world-class concertos! Greetings! I am a world traveled performer and vocalist from the United States. I have been playing the cello for 12 years now and specialize in Suzuki method and Baroque style. I teach proper technique and positioning but also let the student guide me as to how outside of the box they would like to go. I teach cello for jazz, pop and other experimental avenues as well.
