Violin lessons for all ages and levels- English, Portuguese, French and Spanish
Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels. I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing. In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!! My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for. The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you! I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato. I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching. I look forward to sharing this adventure with you! Hope to hear from you! Louisa

Piano lessons for all ages and styles? Look no further!
Looking for educational, versatile and fun piano lessons? Look no further. My name is Áron and I am a 26-year-old performing artist and educator from Hungary. I have been playing the piano for over 18 years and I have taught students of all ages, from beginners to advanced musicians. What can you expect from your piano classes with me? My main goal, apart from teaching the technique, theory and repertoire, is to show students how much joy music can bring to their life and to let them expand their own musical ideas. You will be able to discover the importance of musicality, artistry, the role of music in our life, the attitude of playing, listening, composing and experimenting with new sounds. STRUCTURE BY LEVEL Beginner* I have got my own techniques of teaching kids (lots of colors, shapes, children songs), as well as adult beginners. What’s most important in this stage is to let the student enjoy the sound of the piano, and be satisfied and motivated after a lesson. Together we will work on a certain repertoire that will help you improve your technique and hearing skills, develop your musical knowledge and creativity. Intermediate* With students of this level, we will work more on perfecting the harmony, technique, and transcription. You will learn how to improvise a more challenging repertoire that requires the practice of both technique and music analysis. Advanced* Depending on your goal, I am going to help you develop a certain part of your piano playing. We are going to dive into details of harmony (jazz harmony), improvisational skills, compositional skills, stage skills and more. *Classes can be tailored to your needs and particular areas of interest if needed. I hope you are excited to explore music together! :) Feel free to reach me at if you have any questions.

Learn Dutch through pictures and music
I learned a lot in helping. One of these things is that children learn faster through play and/or music. As a result, I have put together a special program to give children a good start in their language skills, or to help them improve them. Before the lesson starts, we will see how far developed the child is. When I have established that, we will first spend half an hour talking words based on pictures. The last hour is music central. We will choose a song together (children's songs) and learn it together. The more progress, the more difficult (language area) the songs will become.

Enrico
Cello lesson for all ages and levels (also by Skype)
Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Violin Lessons in Amsterdam through the Suzuki Method
Private Violin lessons in Amsterdam, with a specific focus on the "Suzuki Talent Education". I teach children from ages 4 up to the conservatory level. My main teaching approach is based on the principles of the Suzuki Method. The lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, including game-like exercises and space to be creative and have fun!. I also teach adults who play the violin as a hobby. What is the Suzuki Method? Developed by Shin'ichi Suzuki, a Japanese violinist, and pedagogue who was one of the most influential ones of the 20th century. Through a life-long process of experiences, research and evolution, S.Suzuki created the "Mother Tongue Method" based on the observation that all children learn to speak their native language with ease through listening and repetition. He believed that since very young children could master the complexity of their native language, they could also master playing the violin. The Suzuki Method not only contributes to the development of the musical abilities in children but it is also a great and powerful influence on a child's growth as a human being and their social values, sensitivity, discipline and love for life. “Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited." S.Suzuki.
