Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian, and I am a Jazz piano player and singer. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague and I just completed a master in Vocals and Piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give the student a general understanding of the music to approach every style and to have fun with music! I love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, self-confidence, trust, communication, and collaboration, all through music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. I believe in it.

About Me

Federica was born in Bari, Italy. She started her musical studies as a singer at the age of 12, playing the piano as a secondary instrument. At 17 she deepened her jazz piano studies privately, attending lessons with Vito Di Modugno, piano teacher but also one of the best Hammond-organ players in the world. From September 2015 she studied jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague.
At the moment Federica is attending a Master's degree.

Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development.
He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are:

1: The pleasure of playing
The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs!

2: Learning in the way that best suits the student
There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person.

3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts
The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts!

Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano.

Hey there! In my lessons, what you want is the most important. That's why we create together a plan of study with ideas, goals and subjects to reach out our dream to make music (that's also my dream)

Nevertheless, I can give you an overview of the content:

I divide the music theory in two: Technical and Musical.
Technical Theory regarding all the concepts and information related to music, and Musical Theory regarding the ideas and concepts to help us understand and improve the performance of music. Besides that, we look to harmony in a functional, rhythmical and organic way. We learn and approach music from the first lesson, looking at it from different angles (understanding rhythm and essence of a song for example). All this plus a nice diet of assignments and exercises: D

Furthermore, we put especial attention to enjoying music. That means playing but also listening music! For me, that's one of the best ways to learn :)

And of course, we learn as well by making mistakes, so at the end it's all about fun and trying things out;)

Hello!

I am a professional recorder and flute player with a passion for both early and contemporary music, offering lessons on the recorder, flute, piano, and music theory in the Amsterdam area and online.

I graduated with a Masters in recorder at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Cum Laude, with a scholarship from The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First-Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival.

I am an encouraging and dedicated teacher who believes that effective practice, rather than talent, is at the heart of any musical development. I share my expertise in how to practice well, varying your approach to make different connections rather than just repeating things - this also helps to keep practice interesting! Hi, I'm Aliaksandra! I'm originally from Belarus and 2 years ago I completed my Master's degree in classical cello and piano. I'm 26 yo old, living in Amsterdam, and have been playing both cello and piano since I was 8.
After more than 15 years of studying and performing music, I've come to realize how much I enjoy sharing my passion and knowledge with others.I currently teach at Leerorkest Music School in Amsterdam and also offer private lessons.
I teach both piano and cello to students of all ages and levels—whether you're a complete beginner or more advanced. Lessons can take place at my home (in the centre of Amsterdam). I have been playing, performing and teaching music my whole life, I studied Jazz Saxophone at the conservatorium van amsterdam, but I am from Scotland.
I am a professional performing singer, saxophonist and i write and produce music. I am very experienced in improvisation, Jazz Theory, technique.

In my lessons we can work on various styles from pop and jazz to classical. We will work on building technique, music reading, playing from chord symbols, improvising and playing by ear. The joy of playing the piano, and making music together are core values in my lessons.
