I am Antonio, a Spanish pianist who currently studies in Amsterdam. I have been playing the piano since I was six, and I am passionate for piano and music. Hey there! In my lessons, what you want is the most important. That's why we create together a plan of study with ideas, goals and subjects to reach out our dream to make music (that's also my dream)

Nevertheless, I can give you an overview of the content:

I divide the music theory in two: Technical and Musical.
Technical Theory regarding all the concepts and information related to music, and Musical Theory regarding the ideas and concepts to help us understand and improve the performance of music. Besides that, we look to harmony in a functional, rhythmical and organic way. We learn and approach music from the first lesson, looking at it from different angles (understanding rhythm and essence of a song for example). All this plus a nice diet of assignments and exercises: D

Furthermore, we put especial attention to enjoying music. That means playing but also listening music! For me, that's one of the best ways to learn :)

And of course, we learn as well by making mistakes, so at the end it's all about fun and trying things out;)

Voice lessons are an amazing way to strengthen your voice and broaden your range. Lessons are offered for all types of musical styles including jazz, classical, and pop. In these lessons we will cover vocal technique, song performance, leading a band, sight reading, music theory, and other aspects of performing and singing.

Taught in English by a Native English speaker the student with receive English diction lessons along with singing.

The basic technique is guaranteed, but the teacher will work with the student on the specific goals and topics the students want to focus on.

If you want to learn the basics or improve and extend your skills in piano playing, these classes are for you.

As a piano teacher/instructor, for the young and adults (for all genders), I can guide you through the fundamentals and towards a skilful repertoire - depending on your level and ambitions. In this class you will learn, depending on your goals:

For children Under 9 year old I usually start my class by listening to music with movement and games to improve their listening ability and then start playing recorder and with more than 9 years old we start recorder with theory lessons and ear training

Even if you have no or little theory knowledge yet, I have a way of getting you started with improvisation and then teaching you everything theoretical you need to know.

I am Keith, a Hong Kong percussionist based in Amsterdam and currently finishing my master degree in the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I have won several major international competitions and have great experience in performing. I have also taught privately and conducted masterclasses to inspire the next generation of percussionists.
The best thing of being a percussionist is that you can play and find music anytime anywhere! Whether if it's a timpani or your comb, you can produce so many different sounds and exciting rhythm. With one technique, you can almost play anything!
If you are a total beginner with music, percussion is one of the easiest way into it. Instruments sound nice already when you play them. Lessons start from knowing the pulse and developing your groove, to knowing the notes and establishing basic musicality. Then slowly you will explore the vast sound world of percussion, starting with drums, mallets instrument or any objects that you can think of!
If you are looking for more help in excelling in your craft, my professional experience can offer you great guidance and advice, no matter if it's technically or artistically, or even stage presence and healthy mindset.

A: With similar technique, you can play mallets instruments like marimba which has a warm healing sound, or orchestral instruments like triangle or tambourine. And with the rhythmic sense from learning drum set, you can literally play groove in the world, no matter if it is latin or asian or middle east! The sky is the limit!

Q: What do you value the most in your lesson?
A: Sincerity and curiosity. I hope we can have honest communication and I can offer you new inspiration every lessons.

Q: How do you keep your lessons engaging and fun?
A: It all starts with your own interest and passion. If you have a specific genre or instrument that you like, we will build your musical sense from there, even if it's death metal or jazz. I will offer you different kinds of exercises and ideas until you own the skill.

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, this course will focus on your personal interests as a musician. We will explore the instrument from a contemporary perspective based on tradition in order to not only survive in any musical context, but also exceed expectations. We will work together to develop all aspects of a good contemporary drummer: technique, control, coordination, independence, creativity and expression. As a teacher and student, I can assure you that the development of a musician is not only born from training and theory, but also from the enjoyment of playing the instrument, so in this course you will have 50% technical work and 50% development of skills. repertoire (songs you want to play).
