About Me

I have taught all ages. I usually teach younger children (around 12-13 years old) using internet examples and well-known pop songs. Children can do that themselves but sometimes need a little help with the rhythm. Once that succeeds, the students are usually very enthusiastic.
I also teach jazz music with the help of American books. Improvising, timing, voicings, etc. Blues scale and triplet feeling are usually good elements for slightly older students who want to learn something about the older piano styles. A few years ago I recorded another Duke Ellington project with singer Deborah Carter.

Private lessons from a very experienced bassist with over 10 years of experience performing internationally and more than 5 years as a teacher. The lessons are for all levels, it is not necessary to have previous experience. In the lessons, we'll learn the instrument and musical theory but the main focus is to play and have fun doing so.
