Hi, my name is Matteo, I'm Italian, I'm 30 years old and I'm from Chioggia, a small town in the province of Venice. I live in Amsterdam, although I lived for 2 and a half years in Chile and the same number in Lisbon, Portugal. I love languages (I speak 6... for now...), cinema and sport! I am a professor with more than 5 years of experience in Official Institutes and in private lessons. I look forward to being able to help you achieve the results you want, with effective, fun methods, and with materials like texts and audiobooks that suit your level!

I have more than 5 years of teaching experience, both online and in person. I have worked for the Instituto Chileno-Suizo, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Dante Alighieri Association, and the Liceo Bicentenario Italia in Santiago, Chile. I graduated in foreign languages from CA Foscari University of Venice and obtained the DITALS certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena.

I was born in Italy, but for the last two years of my life I have traveled the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East, traveling and working remotely.
I am a professional teacher with 6 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages!

As a creative copy professional and philosopher, I see every lesson as an experiment. To keep us both on the edge of our seats, I continuously explore new ways of teaching that fit your specific needs. Feel tempted? Book your first lesson and get one extra!

Doubts? Dutch might feel a little violent to a delicate mouth in the beginning. But once you get passed that, a sea of inspiring and quirky new ways to express yourself will open up. To help you move beyond that hump, I will adjust my lessons to your personal passions and interests, including your specific reasons to speak and/or write in this language right now.

Two kids that are roughly the same level can share one webcam lesson of one-hour minimum. Keep in mind that we will stay online for at least 15 minutes extra, as young ones will need at least two 5 minute breaks.
