I am a certified musician, teacher, and specialist in musical language, harmony, and music history, with over 20 years of experience training students at various levels. I have been a music language teacher and coordinator of the music theory course at the Juan Manuel Olivares Conservatory, and have also participated in various editions of the prestigious Alirio Díaz International Guitar Festival. My training includes a degree from the Juan Manuel Olivares Conservatory of Music, a Master's degree in classical guitar, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Musicology at the International University of Valencia (VIU). In this course, we’ll explore the major eras of Western classical music, from the ornate harmonies of the Baroque to the bold, theory-breaking works of the 20th century. In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.

My teaching method is carefully tailored to the specific needs of each student, regardless of the subject we are working on (music theory, cello, music history, analysis, conducting, etc.). He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. I teach Old-Time fiddle, beginning and intermediate level. I prefer students who have some experience with fiddle, violin, or bowed string instruments, but I will accept students with no experience, too. To make the most of your learning experience, weekly, one-hour lessons are highly encouraged. I will teach you fiddle bowing techniques, cross tuning, low tuning, learning tunes from ear, jam information, the social aspects of Old-Time music, as well as history of the tunes and the source fiddlers.
