About Me
I'm 22 years old musician from Estonia. I am very easy to connect with and definitely don't have this "angry piano teachers" image. I know that every person, younger or older, have their strengths and weaknesses. I like to work with both. Since I have had several music teachers in my 17 years long studies, I have picked out the best methods for teaching.
Education
My music studies started when I was 5 years old and continue for at least 5 years. My first main subject was classical piano which I studied for 11 years. At the same time I was having guitar and singing lessons as well. In the higher music school I choose choral conducting and music pedagogy subjects which gave me a lot of knowledge of working with children and adults. From the age of 17 I have had several choirs, many students(piano, music theory and solfege) and I was also a music teacher in kindergarten. Working with children turned out fantastic. Then I decided teaching music is my passion and all the next steps in life I do according to that.
After graduating and getting my diploma I decided to get more experience on the other side of the world. So I moved to Australia for a year where I worked as a music teaching nanny and also gave music lessons to children from Estonian community in Brisbane.
Today I am studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and just moved to Antwerp, trying to continue my music teaching career here.
