Music Hacker : How to make it big in music and have an incredible career
As a musician, I went from the bedroom to the big stage. I came to London with £90 in my pocket and within months had turned it into a £70,000 publishing advance and within 5 months I was signed to Sony for £250,000. I was touring with Eminem within a year and my story has become a best-selling book 'California Schemin' and an award-winning Documentary and will soon be a theatre play and motion picture. I came from nowhere and made it happen. I have unrivaled experience o the music business and teach artists how to make it and how to not get screwed by the music industry.
From creating a brand, developing your music/production/songwriting, to brand building and clever marketing techniques to guarantee you get where you are going without losing your rights. The music industry is a tough place and 99% of all artists never see the light of day. For 16 years I've made a living from my art, multiple revenue streams that have allowed me to break free from the normal rat race of working jobs you hate when you are born creative.
I help break artists, writers, musicians free from the catch 22 life of never having time to develop their music into mind-blowing art that the world can fall in love with. The business is set up to trip artists up, I'm here to make sure artists love the art and teach them ways to get around the traps of the music business.

About Me
I have been teaching and mentoring youths from all over the world through online courses and 1 to 1 tutoring for over 10 years and I have seen incredible results. From helping a young lad with learning difficulties to release his first comic book to helping a teacher suffering from depression to write and release their first novel. A big part of my work is showing my students in real time action that they can do anything. When they realise this, there is nothing better.I have had a much publicized and epic career that stands as an example that anyone of any age can achieve whatever they set their minds to. I have overcome much adversity to achieve all of my dreams. Depsite being laughed at, beaten and crippled by circumstance I have taken ideas from the bedroom to big stage, from dream to the big screen and I now dedicate my life to helping others unearth the confidence they require to achieve their goals.
I was an average student at school but bullying and lacklustre teaching severely ruined my high school experience and yet I went on to become a best selling author before 30. I believe that for skills to be learned the experience of learning them has to be enjoyable, not boring and not so complicated the concepts don't stick. I feel that school is losing an inevitable battle against technology and yet they don't upgrade the curriculum or speak a modern language that captivates the students attention. That's where I come in. My confidence classes are a far better way to improve grades because with confidence you want to learn you want to improve but not if the material in front of you is boring and out of date.
I don't believe in teaching anything that is a waste of time. I only teach what absolutely works with honesty because I want my students to get good fast so that they can feel good and have fun with it, that's when they start soaring and that's when we commonly see that the rest of their grades soar too, because they now have something that makes them feel that they are great. My students get better because I believe in them and by achieving each stage of my courses they grow in confidence and believe in themselves.
I believe that when a young person masters a unique skill it changes them forever. It is quite beautiful to witness the kids I have taught who have come from nothing and been doubted only to become incredible at one of the hardest skills in the world to perfect. At that point they can do anything. Writing a book isn't as big a task when you spend all your down time having fun with words.
Most youths don't know how to express themselves and get distracted by negative things in times of boredom. To be able to perfectly express how you feel inside and ask the right questions of yourself in order to write them down. These are incredible qualities to gain and they are sorely lacking in schools.
In my lessons there are no sums or tricks to confuse you the student or make them feel dumb. I talk clear and straight and in their language. There are mostly fun learn as you go rap exercises and games that you will want to play every spare moment you have.
I am very honest with my students and install in them integrity and humility. My classes are aimed at helping my students grow in confidence, discover their voice and develop the tools to express themselves. I teach life lessons inside my classes, giving real life examples of how ego only ruins hard work but how passion, drive and simply doing what you love can take you as far as you want.
I come from a family of strong woman and believe in equal rights for everyone. I treat every student as I wished I was treated at school, with respect and care. I leave all my students with the knowledge that It doesn't matter who you are or where you are from, if you believe in yourself nothing can stop you.

Gavin is an awesome teacher. Our son has a great time and would like to attend the class again.
Great teacher ! Very well structured and open hearted ! Absolutely skilled and answered every question.
Really engaging first lesson!
I Specialize in teaching young people to Rap. From beginner levels all the way through to having a successful music career. My name is Gavin and I'm a successful rapper, producer and bestselling author. Some may think that Rap is about ego but in reality, rap is about finding your true identity through your voice. The process of learning a skill that has been officially categorized by ‘John Hopkins University’ as the second most creative thing your brain can do other than fly a jet plane, builds humility and character.
Rap saved my life and took me from hospital bed with shattered confidence to the big stage with Eminem, from dreams to the big screen. The main benefit of learning to rap is that it makes your mind work faster than most, you become an incredible problem solver and improviser. Your confidence grows day by day until you are able to do amazing things with words.
The techniques, games and skills you will learn in this course will not just be beneficial for your social life, by helping you think quicker and feel more comfortable in situations, but they are applicable in many careers and scenarios. The skills you gain at Rap School can lead to huge, exciting careers. Not necessarily just a career in rap, I've helped young male and female rappers write their first books, write film scripts, release comic books and develop stand-up comedy careers.
The ability to rap has made me a better writer and allowed me to have a successful career in music as well as careers in journalism, literature and film all from techniques and methods nurtured in my rhyme books and with a microphone rather than in a class room. With Rap I found my voice, my identity, it taught me that extremely hard skills were easy and just a matter of time but that I was capable of anything. Not everyone can rap and when you can rap as good as I am going to teach to rap, better than your heroes, then it will make you a special individual able to think fast, process more information and think 5 steps ahead.
If you want to discover your voice, your true confidence and want to see what you are really capable of by doing something that is incredible fun then this is then this class is for you.
With Rap school you will:
1. Learn to Freestyle
2. Learn Ride the beat
3. Learn rhyme structure
4. Learn how to compile rhymes
5. Learn how to Flow
6. Learn Multi-Syllabics
7. Learn how to write Punchlines
8. Learn the art of Battle Rap
9. Learn Internals rhymes schemes
10. Learn how to write songs
11. Learn how to rap live
12. Learn how to sing
13. Learn how to record
14. Learn how to Double Time (fast rap)
Along the way you will find your voice, your style and true inner confidence and when you do it will be magical, and nothing will be able to stop you achieving at anything you want to do.
I specialize in tutoring creative writing and sparking the imagination of young students into believing a career in creative writing can be achieved by simply loving to write. I was a C-level English student but I became the best-selling author by the age of 27.
Over the last 10 years, I have worked with some fantastic writers on film and book projects and received some amazing and techniques from some of the best writers in the world including Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahniuk, and John Niven to name a few. Far from shortcuts these tips have unlocked possibilities and boosted my enjoyment of writing and its techniques and tips like these that I teach.
Learning to creatively write must be a fun experience so I incorporate games and exercises that will inspire my students to write more often and to see the long term potential in being a great writer.
I believe great writing is all in the story and from experience know that it is not about grammar. This is course is for creative writing. So, if you have and a decent grasp of the English language, enough to form clear and understandable sentences, then this course is for you.
In this course you will learn :
1. How to develop great ideas
2. How to pick the format you are writing.
3. To-Plan out your story arcs.
4. To figure what does & doesn't work.
5. How to Write drafts quickly.
6. How to get in the zone and write with a flow.
7. How to write great characters and find their voice.
8. How to pick the right exciting narrative
9. How to write powerful monologs
10. How to structure a great story (book and film)
11. How to pace dramatic events.
12. How to build tension.
13. How to write comedy
& So much more.
As a best-selling author and screenwriter, I am a perfect example of what you can achieve if you simply do what you love. The course is also jam-packed with honest tips and examples of how to achieve the career path you want. So if you love words, love to write & tell stories then this is for you.

Let's talk about music! Musical language, harmony, composition, various analyses, music in its sociocultural context or commented readingsHello! I've been teaching nonstop for over 10 years, and I'd love to tell you what a class with me offers:
100% personalized approach: The first step is to define your goals. Learning for pleasure? Preparing for entrance exams? Or taking the professional leap? I'll adapt the methodology, curriculum, and even the repertoire to your goals.
Dynamic environment (without losing rigor): Relaxed but demanding classes, where practical methods (and my irremediable sense of humor) prevail.
Hearing + Musicality + Analysis: We'll work on listening, understanding, and analyzing your musical references. The goal: for you to make artistic decisions with confidence and feel music as your own.
No stylistic biases: For me, all music is valid. We'll explore everything from classical to electronic, using each style to work on key aspects: melody, harmony, production... We'll even explore genres you're unfamiliar with together!
Important! I balance classes with concerts and projects. Although you're my priority, I appreciate the occasional flexibility to reschedule (only when strictly necessary).
If you like this approach, write to me! Learning music is an exciting journey, and I'd love to be your guide.

Electronic Music Production – Ableton Live, Synthesis, Sound Design, Composition, Mixing, Mastering, and Live PerformanceHi, my name is Jim. I'm an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the Fontys Academy of Arts (Rockacademie) in Tilburg, Netherlands. Music has always been my way of exploring the world — through raw field recordings, synthesis, and emotional storytelling. Over the past 12 years, I’ve developed a complete, self-sufficient creative process: from concept to composition, sound design to vocal production, mixing, mastering, and live performance. I’m passionate about helping others gain those same end-to-end technical skills — so they can bring their own musical vision fully to life.
As Malvae, I’ve written, sung, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and performed all of my work. My music reached #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathered millions of streams, and featured in international film productions including King of the Streets and Netflix’s Terrace House Japan. One of the most formative moments in my career was my Amazonas album project, where I traveled into the Amazon rainforest to record and manipulate natural sounds. 90% of that album was created entirely from these field recordings, reshaped through granular synthesis and advanced sound design into a cohesive sonic journey. That experience deeply shaped how I approach my music and how I teach sound design and composition.
I’ve headlined shows at iconic venues like Melkweg Amsterdam with immersive, self-built audiovisual live sets using Ableton Live, modular gear, sequencers, and Resolume for live integrated visuals. I curated my own events and performed at venues like A’dam Tower, OT301. I also teach at studios such as Wisseloord in Hilversum, guiding students through the technical and creative intersections of sound and performance.
Selected Works & Collaborations:
My EP Like Bees to a Hive began as a soundscape for fashion brand Lobomar’s collection Final Orders, Please, presented at the Amsterdam World Museum. I collaborated with South African poet Julia-Beth Harris, integrating her spoken word into a seamless, atmospheric release. From sequential Prophet 6 textures to ADX1 drum machine layers and detailed field recordings, I handled every layer, from concept through multitrack production to the final live performance in London.
My Chrysalis EP, released as a limited-edition heavyweight red vinyl, pushed that even further, combining ethereal vocals, analog grit, and unique textures to craft an emotionally rich release. I personally led every part of the project’s technical and creative execution, from arrangement and vocal production to final mixing, mastering and vinyl press preparation.
In addition to my own projects, I’ve worked as a vocal producer and mixing engineer, including on Esther Veen’s EP Before I Go, where I handled recording, complex vocal layering, creative processing, production, multivocal arrangement and final mixing to deliver a polished, high-impact sound.
About the lessons:
My sessions are fully customised to your experience level, goals and grounded in real-world music production. Whether you’re just getting started or want to deepen your technical ability, you’ll learn how to develop professional workflows and the creative independence to finish what you start.
We can explore:
- Building advanced music production workflows and creative strategies
- Recording, Composition, arrangement, and storytelling through sound
- Full-stack mixing and mastering — from bedroom setups to pro-level delivery
- Synthesis and sampling — from sound shaping basics to high-level manipulation
- Multi vocal production, vocal recording, editing, layering, FX, and creative processing techniques
- Translating your music into a compelling live set with Ableton Live
- Applying music theory practically in electronic, cinematic, and contemporary music
Lessons are available online or in-person at my studio in Amsterdam. For online students, I use high-quality real-time tools that allow us to collaborate with full-resolution audio directly from your DAW — no screen sharing limitations, just real work in real time.
My own musical path often started by blending the sounds I encountered in the world, whether from distant rainforests or my own voice , into something personal and expressive.
I found my sound that way, and I’d love to help you find yours.
(And don’t worry — we won’t have to go to the ends of the earth to do it. I’ll show you how to turn the sounds you already have into something truly your own.)
Whether you're just starting out or ready to go deeper, I look forward to helping you grow through structured, creative, and technically grounded electronic music education.

Music lessons (Guitar, Theory, Composition, Ear training, Improvisation, and more)Hello all, I am Rotem (24), I am a guitarist and a composer, and currently pursuing my master's in music composition and theory in ZHdK. I graduated with honors studying jazz performance with classical composition as a side subject from New England Conservatory (Boston).
I have been performing, touring and teaching around the world: New York, Washington DC, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, and more!
I have grown up with educaiton both in jazz and classical practices, and therefore am very versatile and fluent with both worlds which i believe creates a unique and interesting perspective for approaching music.
In our lessons, we could focus on anything you'd like to: guitar, music theory, composition, ear training, electronic music, improvisation (jazz and free improvisation), rhythm, and many more.
If you're currently preparing for auditions, exams, or just feel like picking up an instrument or learn about music, feel more than welcome to get in touch!
The lessons can be held in English, or Hebrew, either in my house in Escher Wyss-Platz, in Toni Areal, or your place.
Looking forward to hearing from you and get to know you, and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions :)

Learn Piano and Improvisation and practice other languages :)The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!
The class duration: You can choose!
20 minutes (Great for the youngest : 3 years old)
30 minutes (Ideal for young beginners from 4 years old)
45 minutes (Intermediate+ adult beginners)
1 hour (Intermediate and combined with some Music Theory)
I use different methods depending on:
1) The goals of my student
2) The language that we will use on class
3) Age and musical preferences: I start to teach children from 3 years old, we make games and they learn to play through musical stories that I have created throughout my pedagogical career.
