English classes and reinforcement of any subject from primary to high school

From 13 £ /h

I am currently a third-year student pursuing a double degree in Philosophy and Social Studies at the University of Madrid (UCM). I have one year of experience teaching private tutoring and English classes. I offer classes in any subject from elementary to high school. However, I specialize in English and humanities and social sciences, which constitute my current field of study.
My one-year stay in Dublin allows me to introduce my students to the English language more deeply, thereby instilling my passion for teaching and learning it. I also learned firsthand the study and examination methods at Cambridge, an institution from which I hold a C1, although my ongoing language training means I currently have a C2 level.
In my classes, I try to tailor the content to the students' unique characteristics and interests to achieve the desired results as effectively as possible, while also improving their relationship with their studies and passion for knowledge.

About Me

I'm a Philosophy and Political Science student. My passion for the humanities allows me to offer classes in this field, especially Philosophy, my current field of study. Furthermore, my close ties with English, given my time in Dublin, allow me to offer English classes tailored to each student's interests and unique needs.

Education

I've been taking English classes for as long as I can remember, which currently gives me a C2 level and an official Cambridge C1 certification. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. I'm currently in my third year of a double degree in Philosophy and Political Science at the UCM.

English or what?? It will allow you to ask all kinds of questions, since doubting is the first time you learn something!!! And look at this! The more questions you ask, the better you will be with all the AUXILIARY verb puzzles, what a puzzle solving task!

I'm available almost 24/7 just like any trusted Seven/Eleven!! I say almost because as human as this teacher is, she also sleeps and eats!!

Welcome, welcome to English or What?, to my caracol house, to your English school!!!

If you want to function in professional environments and in your daily life, you have found the classes you were looking for.
My extensive professional experience of 25 years has made me feel comfortable in any professional environment.
whether they are companies, language schools, vocational training, extracurricular classes, individuals, etc., and for both adults and children.
I fundamentally give a communicative approach to my classes, I apply a method that places special emphasis on interaction and the use of language in real situations.
Since they are mostly private classes and in small groups, it is possible to personalize them and adapt them to the needs of each student or group.

English is a very accessible and important instrument.
It allows you to see new perspectives, new versions of yourself.
I want to expand your knowledge through practice.
My classes include listening to music and speaking, writing, painting, reading, movies, vocabulary, nature, improving vocal sound, etc.
I want to create private classes based on IT.
I have worked on a flexible program, for each level, that allows me to create the private class with you.
Allowing you to explore your abilities, your dreams, your needs, your own mind and heart while you learn a new language, need to practice, prepare for an exam or perfect your pronunciation.

I believe we can all learn everything in the right places.

English is essential in the modern world, but the most important thing is being able to communicate it effectively. In this course, you'll achieve that easily and enjoyably.

The classes are engaging and interactive, adapting to your progress level and taking into account your language goals. Each class includes a variety of writing, listening, and speaking exercises that will strengthen your connection with the language and boost your confidence and comfort. We also treat mistakes as learning opportunities, allowing us to work at your own pace and help you achieve your goals.

Do you find it difficult to express yourself in English even though you understand quite a bit? Would you like to speak with more confidence, naturalness, and fluency?

My name is Álvaro and I have experience living in the United States and Ireland, as well as a TEFL – Full Circle 360 qualification specializing in teaching English as a foreign language.

My classes are especially focused on improving oral expression and helping you feel comfortable speaking English in real-life situations.

We will work primarily through:

🗣️ Everyday conversations and situations
💬 Debates and expression of opinions
🎲 Games and activities to help you speak naturally
🎬 Movies, series, videos and songs
🌍 Travel, culture and experiences
🎭 Role plays and real-life situations
📖 Useful vocabulary and expressions to help you communicate better
🔊 Pronunciation and fluency

The idea is for you to speak from the very first minute. During our conversations, I'll correct your mistakes and help you find more natural ways to express yourself, always adapting to your level.

I'm not looking for you to memorize endless vocabulary lists: I want you to learn to use English to truly communicate and gradually lose your fear of speaking.

The classes are fully adapted to your level, interests and goals, whether you are starting out or already have a good level and want to gain fluency.

I have a deep passion and innate interest in teaching French, which stems from my own experience. At the age of 13, my mother, who studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, began teaching me before I received any formal schooling. Learning this first foreign language broadened my horizons and opened up numerous opportunities, not only socially, but especially professionally.

I recognize that my students' goals and motivations will vary considerably. Therefore, one of the fundamental principles of a good teacher is to understand these individual motivations and use them to guide curriculum development and teaching methods.
