Analysis tools for western art- and popular music. The course is made for you to learn how to analyze any kind of music with the right tools to approach harmonic, rhythmic or melodic relations in music.

Among the main topic we will study basilisks harmonic, rhythmic and melodic analysis, Shenkerean analysis, Schoenberg harmonic conception, Lechenmann ́s perspective of sound, analysis of tonal and non-tonal music.

In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs.

Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity.

Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop.

Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition.

These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.

I hold a Master's degree in Music Performance from the Guildhall School of Music in London and a Bachelor's degree in Historical Instrument Performance (harpsichord, organ, and piano) from the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. I have had a passion for music since an early age. I have had the opportunity to study in Brussels, Italy, and England, where I have grown personally and professionally, performing in important venues such as the European Parliament and the National Gallery of Art in Bosnia. I enjoy sharing my experience with my students and helping them reach their full potential, while also developing a passion for the instrument and creating music.

This course is designed for both beginners who want to learn from scratch and intermediate students who want to improve their piano skills.

Includes essential piano fundamentals (score reading, technique and posture), diverse repertoire that ranges from classical to contemporary pieces, adapted to your level (or pieces of the student's choice: films, songs,...)

We will use a personalized and friendly approach to ensure that each student achieves their musical goals in a fun and effective way. The classes will adapt to your needs and learning pace.

My guitar lessons are a real experience for those who study with me. What matters most to me is that my student can fulfill his desires with the guitar and music. Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). At the age of 12 he picked up a classical guitar for the first time (which he still owns) and since then he has not stopped playing, practicing and inventing with it. He currently lives in Barcelona (Spain) where he mainly teaches rock, jazz and flamenco. In fact, his studies range from jazz (he has 2 degrees in jazz guitar) to flamenco. In Barcelona Pierpaolo attends the ESMUC conservatory. "I am Pierpaolo, a professional guitarist with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Jazz Guitar (110 cum laude) and with experience studying other styles such as blues, rock, pop, funk, latin, fusion, flamenco. I have 10 years of experience as a teacher and have played at many festivals and events as a guitarist, in ensembles ranging from solo guitar to orchestra and big band. My passion for music always makes me have fun in classes with my guitar students. I also have experience in the recording studio as an author, composer, arranger, producer and collaborator."
