I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA, and I've recently relocated from London to Barcelona. Mathematics has always been a huge passion of mine and I have found it helps in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These skills are crucial in building confidence and nurturing creativity in students (I even use math to create music!). I enjoy teaching various math topics, such as algebra, geometry, ratio and proportion, probability, and trigonometry, among others. I am an absolute language enthusiast, who is as well lucky to pursue her greatest hobby at the university - I study to become a teacher of both English and German. I specialize in teaching mostly through conversation, during which I as well explain the main principles of grammar. Why so? I do not want my students to be overwhelmed by grammar and only get a minor option to speak and use what they just learned. This way of teaching as well allows me (and my students) to get to know each other better, which I find important.
