I offer lessons to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those more advanced. Typical lessons last from 30 minutes to an hour. All of my lessons are tailored to meet the exact needs and preferences of my students, whether that's working towards their next graded exam, playing just for fun, and anything in between. I hold a first class honours degree in Classical Flute from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I studied with Ian Clarke and Philippa Davies, and won the Needlemaker's Woodwind Prize. After graduating in 2022, I was invited to become a Guildhall School Junior Fellow, specialising in Flute and Composition. As a freelance flautist, I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall and the Southbank Centre. My performance experience encompasses a diverse range of settings, from live radio broadcasts to collaborations with dance and art installations, reflecting my versatility as a musician, and openness to help my students pursue their own personal journey, both within music and as an individual in general. In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Beyond emphasising technical proficiency and a solid grasp of music theory, I am dedicated to nurturing creativity in all of my students.

Music trains the brain. Music as a leisure activity has scientifically proven cognitive, emotional, social and neural benefits. Today music is being used in many areas of healthcare. With the training and a year of experience in music therapy, I provide music lessons for children and adults using recent neurological research in the field. I am an experienced music tutor and value creativity more than anything else. It makes me happy to share my knowledge and skills with others and help them achieve their musical goals. I teach flute and music theory up to advance level and piano up to intermediate level. It's also possible to consider therapeutic lessons for individuals with special needs or dementia.

I am a professional flautist and passionate music educator, currently studying at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I hold a Diploma with Distinction from the ARSM and have been won in several prestigious national and international competitions, including Galway flute festival, British Flute society competition for three years. I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification.
