As a professional musician with a deep passion for teaching, I am dedicated to passing on my knowledge and skills in the field. Education

I am a Polish double bassist based in Basel, Switzerland. In 2016, I was awarded a scholarship to pursue my studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I received tutelage from esteemed teachers, including Dominic Seldis, Tom Goodman, and Graham Mitchell.

In 2020, I successfully auditioned for the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, where I earned my Master’s Degree under Professor Roman Patkoló in 2022. My academic journey is complemented by a myriad of scholarships, including the prestigious Prime Minister of Poland scholarship, Melinda Esterházy de Galantha Scholarship, Eppur si muove Scholarship, and numerous others.

Experience / Qualifications

Since 2016, I have been regularly giving private double bass and piano lessons. Since 2021, I have been working as a section leader with the TriRhenum Symphony Orchestra Basel. Occasionally, I also work as a substitute at the Lucerne Music School and Zug Music School. Additionally, I perform concerts with various professional symphony orchestras, such as the Neues Orchester Basel, Gstaad Festival Orchestra, and Basler Festival Orchestra, and participate in numerous chamber music projects.

In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different.

Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me.
I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

I am a professional violin teacher and orchestra musician based in Basel, Switzerland. I graduated from two masters in Basel in Performance and pedagogy and work now as a teacher and freelance musician in symphonic orchestras.

My name is Gianni, I'm a professional musician, currently living in Basel and doing my master's degree in double bass at the Musik Akademie Basel.
I've been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old; I started with classical guitar, then electric guitar and electric bass, then I started double bass and lately I'm learning saxophone.

My name is Léna, and I offer violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have many years of experience in private teaching and am currently completing my Master of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Basel. As an MA Performance graduate of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, one of my greatest passions is engaging with historically informed performance practice. I look forward to exploring the world of gut strings, short and long bows, different pitches, and, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, the various positions of the baroque violin with you!

My name is Clara and I'm a cellist, teacher, and performer in Basel. I'm active in many different genres myself, which is why I can teach a wide variety of things on the cello :) It's important to me to create a learning atmosphere where both student and teacher feel comfortable. Student and teacher should meet as equals, as learning is most effective in a trusting environment.

Where do I come from musically?

It has always been important to me to explore all the possibilities my instrument offers. And to be honest, I'm not finished yet; the cello has so many facets to discover! I've already tried many different styles. I completed my Master's degree in Contemporary Music at the Basel Academy of Music in 2025. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Artistic Pedagogy in Freiburg. This gives me a solid foundation for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for unlocking the creativity of my students.

Can you also find me on stage?

Yes, mostly with my jazzy indie-pop band "Partiprivati". We write our own songs and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :)

But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women.

Or in Ensemble IPSO, a music theater project in which we try to blend the boundaries between music, theater and dance.

And always with solo performances at vernissages.
