In this course, your voice is the focus. Through targeted vocal training and healthy singing technique, you'll learn to carry your voice freely, richly, and without strain. We'll work on posture, breathing, and resonance to create a solid foundation for any musical style. In addition to technique, musical expression is a central element of the lesson: How do I convey emotions? How do I interpret a piece authentically and personally? I'm Gianni—a professional musician with over 10 years of experience and a master's degree in music education. This guitar, bass, and electric bass kit is designed for stylish projects. Lessons can be held in German, Swiss German, English, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish – whichever works best for you. When teaching, it's important to me that you have fun and get into music right from the start. But we don't have to look at or listen to music, and one of the core elements of our music is there! In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different. Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me. I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology. As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound. We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential. I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary. Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing. I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar. We all have the capacity and the right to sing. If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it. And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier. One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

In flute/piccolo lessons, we work on tone, technique, breathing, and a wide range of repertoire. My name is Léna, and I offer violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have many years of experience in private instruction and am currently completing my Master of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FHNW) in Basel. I particularly enjoy the duality of learning: building a solid foundation and working on technique, which ultimately allows one to experience complete freedom and joy on the instrument. I personally find the balance between the two by working according to the principles of the Alexander Technique and paying attention to physical health and the sustainability of playing. I implement this in my teaching; I find it very important to tailor the lessons, exercises, and method closely to the goals and personality of the students. I also have a master's degree in violin with an old scale, which I completed at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
