About Me

Passionate about music and singing, I combine my work as an international ensemble and soloist with my Master's degree in Music Education at the Basel University of Music. My training includes singing with Marcel Boone, historical singing with Carlos Mena, and flute and harpsichord in Barcelona.
Artistically, I work with the Capella Nacional de Catalunya under Jordi Savall, with whom I have recorded works such as Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and Mozart's Great Mass and performed them throughout Europe. Since 2019, I have worked as a music teacher and choir director.
In 2022, I founded the Brafa Choir in Barcelona, a social project for children and families from a disadvantaged neighborhood. At the same time, I directed the Crescendo Choir, where I also worked as a vocal coach and supported singers in technique, expression, and ensemble work.

I am currently studying for a Master's degree in Pedagogy at the Basel Music Academy and am also taking a minor in historical singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

I am singer, classically trained with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology.

As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound.
We choose the repertoire together and work together towards developing your voice, your expressivity, text and style interpretation at your fullest potential.

I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. I am quite open to the students requests and always willing to research deeper and expand my vocal vocabulary.

Singing is a vulnerable, intimate and also communal act. Sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal, which often scares people from even trying to sing. I find this phenomena a cruel and exclusivist perspective on singing.

I consider singing an universal right, and we should all be unashamed of singing, be it in your bathtub, while walking on the street, in a dinner with friends, or in the next open stage at your local bar.

We all have the capacity and the right to sing.
If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it.
And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier.

One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

Singer trained at the Schola Cantorum of Basel (from medieval chant to the 20th century), I offer a general singing course: basic vocal technique (posture, breath work, sound work), discovery of different repertoires (depending on the student's tastes; pop repertoires also possible), work on interpretation. Everybody can sing!
In my classes I will guide you to find your own voice, through vocal exercises and movements, self-perception and listening. My desire is that the student enjoys his or her voice and singing without hurting or using extra tension and specially that he/she has the tools to know the instrument, so to know yourself.
In addition to vocal technique, I offer interpretation tools and music theory through repertoire work (songs) so that the student can interpret different styles and sing along with other musicians.
I studied vocal technique with teachers from the Rabine Institute in Germany and I have also taken a lot of courses of dance, theater and Alexander Technique that I use for my lessons in order to have an holistic approach of the voice and our body as an instrument. Let's have fun!

I am passionate about teaching classical singing and working in close contact with students of all ages. My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method.
The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you!
