About Me

Thai saxophonist Peerasathe represents a new generation defined by technical precision and stylistic versatility. His artistry bridges tradition and innovation, reflecting a deep commitment to exploring new sonic languages.
As a teacher, I create a supportive environment where students of all ages can develop their musicality, technique, and confidence. My lessons combine solid fundamentals like tone, breathing, and articulation with creative expression through repertoire and improvisation. I enjoy working with both children and adults and strive to make learning engaging and enjoyable.

Experience / Qualifications

Peerasathe’s achievements have been recognized at numerous national and international competitions. He won First Prize at the Sugree Charoensook International Music Competition 2024 (Thailand) and was invited to the Aeolus International Wind Competition 2025 (Düsseldorf). In 2023, he received First Prize at the International Saxophone Academy Young Artist Competition (USA) and won First Prize at the Princess Galyani Institute of Music International Ensemble Competition (Thailand) in the Duo with Piano category. He was also a Finalist at the Osaka International Music Competition 2019 (Japan).
Peerasathe has performed at numerous international festivals. He made his solo debut with the Thai Symphony Orchestra in 2024 and appeared as a guest alto and soprano saxophonist with the Landespolizeiorchester Baden-Württemberg. He was a featured artist at the 19th and 20th Thailand International Composition Festivals (2024, 2025) premiered new works of Prin Varojtecha. He has participated in events such as the Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy (Bangkok 2023), Andorra SaxFest IX (2023), and the 2nd Asia Saxophone Congress (Shanghai 2019).

In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different.

Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me.
I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

My name is Léna, and I offer violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have many years of experience in private instruction and am currently completing my Master of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FHNW) in Basel. I particularly enjoy the duality of learning: building a solid foundation and working on technique, which ultimately allows one to experience complete freedom and joy on the instrument. I personally find the balance between the two by working according to the principles of the Alexander Technique and paying attention to physical health and the sustainability of playing. I implement this in my teaching; I find it very important to tailor the lessons, exercises, and method closely to the goals and personality of the students.

I also have a master's degree in violin with an old scale, which I completed at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Early music is my other great passion, so there's always the opportunity to learn about historical performance practice!

My name is Clara and I'm a cellist, teacher, and performer in Basel. I'm active in many different genres myself, which is why I can teach a wide variety of things on the cello :) It's important to me to create a learning atmosphere where both student and teacher feel comfortable. Student and teacher should meet as equals, as learning is most effective in a trusting environment.

Where do I come from musically?

It has always been important to me to explore all the possibilities my instrument offers. And to be honest, I'm not finished yet; the cello has so many facets to discover! I've already tried many different styles. I completed my Master's degree in Contemporary Music at the Basel Academy of Music in 2025. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Artistic Pedagogy in Freiburg. This gives me a solid foundation for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for unlocking the creativity of my students.

Can you also find me on stage?

Yes, mostly with my jazzy indie-pop band "Partiprivati". We write our own songs and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :)

But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women.

Or in Ensemble IPSO, a music theater project in which we try to blend the boundaries between music, theater and dance.

And always with solo performances at vernissages.
