Hello to all music enthusiasts! At 35 years old, with over 15 years of experience as a professional musician, I am delighted to meet you. My musical journey is defined by a degree in jazz guitar awarded by the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country, Musikene, and my participation in the prestigious Focusyear program in Basel. These experiences have enriched my understanding of music and refined my artistic skills.

I have had the privilege of performing on numerous European stages, both as the leader of my jazz and rock bands and as a sideman alongside talented artists. However, my musical commitment does not end there. I have also had the opportunity to release numerous albums, both under my own name and as a collaborator. These albums reflect my artistic diversity and dedication to authentic musical expression.

My musical journey began long before my formal studies. Music has always been my passion, my muse, and my path. I grew up exploring the melodies, rhythms, and harmonies that fill our world, and my guitar became my preferred means of expression. When I joined the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country, Musikene, it was a crucial step in my musical education. This renowned institution allowed me to refine my technique, develop my theoretical understanding, and immerse myself in a variety of musical styles that enriched my musical language.

Another significant milestone in my journey was my participation in the Focusyear program in Basel. This program of excellence opened doors to an even wider musical universe. I had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned musicians, explore uncharted musical genres, and push the boundaries of my creativity. It was a period of intense artistic growth that profoundly influenced my approach to music and teaching.

As a performing musician, I have had the pleasure of sharing my music with diverse audiences on many European stages. My experience as the leader of jazz and rock groups allowed me to develop my musical identity and refine my style. Playing as a sideman alongside other talented musicians has also been a constant source of inspiration, offering me the opportunity to learn and grow through collaboration.

However, my passion for music extends beyond the stage. Over the past 10 years, I have also embraced the role of a music teacher. Teaching has become another facet of my musical career, and it brings me immense satisfaction. I have worked with a variety of students, from children to adults, from beginners to experienced musicians. Each of my students is a source of inspiration, and I have had the privilege of guiding them on their own musical journeys.

My teaching approach is deeply rooted in the belief that each student is unique. With a Bac S, a DEM in classical guitar, a DEM in jazz guitar, and a Bachelor's in Jazz Guitar from the prestigious Musikene Conservatory in the Basque Country, I bring a rich academic background. This diverse education has honed my skills across genres and deepened my understanding of musical intricacies. In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different.

Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me.
I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references.

Stylistically, the focus is on blues, rock, folk pop and world music, with strong references and influences from classical music, hip hop, electronic music and jazz.

My course focuses on the personal realtion between the individual, the chosen instruments and the music itself. This includes musical expression, improvisation, songwriting, songwriting, interpretation as well as music theory and specific aspects of the instrument.

My musical background lies between blues, folk, rock, pop and world music with influences from classical, as well as electronic music, hip hop and jazz.

I offer lessons in Classical music theory at all levels - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Whether you're struggling with the basics, or want to take what you already know to the next level, I'll adapt our lessons to your needs and guide you through what you need to make it.

Trained in Classical and Early music, and having studied performance in harpsichord, organ, piano, classical and electric guitar, I've also studied chamber music composition and electroacoustic composition. A passionate learner myself, I have recently graduated with a Masters from the Hochschule für Musik Basel in Specialized Performance (Improvisation). These diverse experiences are necessarily integrated into what I teach and how.

In my theory classes we’ll look at the fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, solfège, intervals, key signatures, cadences, and other important groundwork whose rigorous study we can then apply to real-life examples of music, helping you acquire a sharper analytical ear.
