I teach classical guitar up to grade 7.

The purpose of this course is to bring students closer to a conservatory experience, where learning is not limited to "how-to" tutorials and lectures. Through a series of lessons customised according to your needs, assignments, and working with me on tasks, you will develop a great load of skills in classical guitar performance as well as a deep understanding of the classical guitar repertoire.

I focus on the western classical guitar repertoire from Renaissance to the 21st century (for example works of Dowland, Narvaez, Bach, Giuliani, Scarlatti, Carcassi, Tarrega, Villa-Lobos, Brouwer, Koshkin etc). Not only will we focus on the technical aspects of playing the guitar, but we will also analyse and use tools of music theory in order for you to deeply understand and be able to demonstrate your personal character in your performance.

Audio recording
if done in right manner and with right mic-ing techniques will not depend merely on post production for it's enhancement. This consists of closed mic-ing and open mic-ing, where to use different aspects and how to apply them. For example using small diaphragm microphones for snare and larger ones for vocals.

Piano
It is the best tuned instrument that there is in the whole library. So, learning piano not only helps you to just play piano better but you can also do better in vocals, guitar, flute and other instruments. It's a go for anyone who is fond of music and wants to learn a instrument.

Music composition
This module aims to develop the students’ compositional ability using a combination of key musical understanding and the practical use of music creation software. Students will have the opportunity to investigate technical and stylistic conventions across a range of contemporary western popular music genres and to study key elements such as chord progressions, structure, harmony and melody, to develop their confidence and own abilities in composition.

These sessions will explore musical composition techniques used in popular and contemporary music. The focus will be on deconstructing different works, exploring what their musical elements are and investigating what commonality these have across the boundaries of genre or instrumentation. Students will have experience of composing original musical elements and arranging these elements into complete compositions.

My name's Luca and I've been a full-time professional musician for the past 10 years. I mainly work as a session musician and recording artist/producer, and also as a private guitar tutor.

Pablo is an experienced, award-winner music teacher, performer and composer based in London.
