French,maths and physics tutoring

I offer tuition for maths and physics exam preparation (Specifically for GCSE and A-level). I hold a degree in physics from UCL and have 5 years of tutoring experience. Exam preparation is a top priority with my students so they can achieve the best grades possible. I also strive to develop their curiosity for the subject overall and build a solid foundation for potentially furthering their education in these subjects.

Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. This gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This is designed for those who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough. It also keeps students on track during breaks from school, such as during March Break, or during the summer. The main aspects of this course will mainly be going over topics where there is a lack of understanding and going over them until they are fully understood. There is the oppurtunity to go through extra work related and if requested, above and beyond the students required level.

My approach is to focus on developing the student’s mastery of the subject through problem based learning, including preparation for exams, while developing the student’s enjoyment of the subject and ability to learn by themselves. Over the years I have worked in different roles requiring a diverse range of skills including coaching/tutoring of high school students in year 9 to year 12 mathematics and coding for primary school children.
